CAREFREE INDUSTRIES INC

George was hired to design my new kitchen. He was responsive and timely in providing the drawings. However, I was also renovating one of my bathrooms. I picked out the kitchen cabinets, which were ordered. However, I also picked out the vanity and medicine cabinet for the bathroom, which he forgot to order. When I asked him about when this would be delivered, he told me it wasn't ordered. This set the project back over a week.
He also ordered the wrong size cabinet for my new double ovens, though I had brought him all the specifications for the appliances.  He recommended to both myself and my contractor that there was a 'quicker' make-shift way to get the ovens to fit into the cabinet he had ordered. When we said no to this suggestion, he did order the right size cabinet, but it set the project back another 2 weeks.
For the inconvenience, George said he would take something off the price of the counter top. To date, 1) I have not received an invoice for this and 2) have no idea whether there was a discount or not. I have asked George for this 3 times.
When the project was finished, there were 3 filler boards that were never used. I called George to return them but he said I couldn't as they were special ordered. Both myself and the contractor looked once more at the plans and there was no filler boards indicated in the plans and we did not need them.
All in all, I would not recommend Carefree Kitchens in Linthicum, MD to anyone and I have talked to both George and my contractor about my dissatisfaction.
