The owner came to my house and found failed circuit boards that need replacement. They gave me two choices. Replace the failed cards for $400 or a new unit for $1200.
I selected the new unit option. When the new unit was received the installation team removed the old unit and installed the new one. The unit is much quieter than the old one.
The team was on time and courteous. They worked quickly and efficiently. They tested the unit put the furniture back and settled up with the bill.
All in all a good experience.

I left a message for Arctic Air Heating and Cooling on a Sunday. I was frantic due to the fact that our A/C Unit was leaking and there was water in our basement. The office returned my call early Monday morning. Brad was able to come to our house that same day and fixed the problem! This was not our first dealing with Arctic Air. They have always been very pleasant to deal with, very quick to jump on service issues with very fair pricing. Would recommend them to anyone!

Arctic lives up to it's reputation and reviews. After moving to DE from Wshington DC, I expected to pay a fortune to have my problems erradicated. Instead, I think I owe them money for all they did.
Do call them for any HVAC problems you may have.
Don't hesitate to ask any questions that you may think are trivial.
Do buy a maintenance contract-their prices are extremely reasonable and cover a host of issues.

Arctic Air Heating and Cooling LLC are really good and reliable. We had a contractor put in our air conditioning system about five years ago and it's under a ten year warranty. And it went out and Arctic Air Heating and Cooling LLC are replacing the contractor's warranty deal.We have a service contract with them and they come out every three months.

I contracted this company to install a complete air conditioning and heating system in my home. The job was completed in two days. I noticed during the installation that the installers had spilled something on the industrial carpet that in my utility room that houses my HVAC system and I pointed it out to the installers. After the system was installed I observed the spill still on the carpet and in addition scratches on the finish of my clothes dryer in the same room. There was also pieces of sheet metal on the dryer. It appeared that the sheet metal had scratched the dryer. I called the owner of Arctic Air and he came to my house and personally cleaned the carpet. I pointed out the pieces of sheet metal and the scratches on my clothes dryer. He then stated that he would have someone remove the scratches from the dryer. Some time passed and nothing was done about the scratches and after many calls to him, I contacted the Maryland Home Improvement Commission. The Representative at MHIC attempted to resolve the problem by a three way phone conference. During the conference the owner became verbally abusive. The conference call was ended and the MHIC Representative gave my the name and phone number of his insurance company. I filed a claim and the insurance company settled the claim by paying for the scratch removal.
