From the beginning, Evan was responsive and upfront with me about the timing of his ongoing projects. He listened precisely to everything that I said and quickly drew up a design that had incorporated everything that I wanted and more. None of the other contractors I took estimates from listened to me at all. There was no contest! He was extremely detailed in ensuring that the design would function well. He even made last minute changes because he was worried about the length of one of the cabinet doors not withstanding years of my kids' slamming it. And when the wall wasn't level behind the unit, he offered to order a new part, do more work even though what he had contracted to do was done and come back and install a piece to make it just perfect at no extra charge. He also drove all the way to Pennsylvania to find the perfect piece of walnut for the beautiful bench. Plus, without my asking (which is weird because I'm pretty meticulous), he added soft close hinges on the cabinets (so important with kids!!) This is what honesty and professionalism is like folks. And, it is the most beautiful, functional part of my house now. I even installed wallpaper in my little alcove to make it really shine. Thanks to Evan for my happy place!

Evan, owner of the company, was great to work with. His crew showed up on time everyday, was very flexible with us with timing and scope of work and work modifications, highly transparent, and whenever new material needed to be purchased, he went to the home improvement store for us which was tremendously helpful as we are very busy working professionals! We've dealt with countless contractors over the years and Evan's professionalism and transparency is exceptional--he explained everything he was doing step-by-step and when he noticed things that needed to be addressed and not part of the original scope, he brought it to our attention and gave us an honest assessment of what needed to be done and if it was urgent. At the end of each day, Evan's crew did a thorough job of cleaning up the job site. In short, Evan is reliable, has exceptional carpentry skills, professional, and reasonable.
