What was supposed to be a no cost estimate turned into a $675 bill that my wife felt obligated to pay. We did not approve the electrical work that Tim Seals did nor were any costs discussed with us. We thought he was just looking around our house to give us an estimate for the work that needed to be done. He went ahead opened up some outlets and then blindsided my wife by handing her a ridiculous bill once he said he fixed the problem. He was supposed to give us a estimate not start any work! He seems like a complete scam artist who does this often to women!!! The problem ended up being a bad circuit breaker, which he charged us $275 to fix. $275 to put in three wires into a old used circuit breaker he had laying around in his truck! We had reached out to multiple electricians to see who would give us the best rate but instead we got stuck with a huge bill that we would have never approved if an estimate was actually provided to us. We want our money back! DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN OR COMPANY!

I encountered an issue with a circuit breaker that couldn't be reset. Following an inquiry on Angi, I received a service call from this company. During our conversation, I specifically inquired about the service cost. The electrician assured me that there would be no charge for the initial assessment. However, upon arrival, it turned out that there was another switch in the panel that needed resetting. The check and reset took less than a minute, yet I was charged a hefty $175. This experience has taught me the importance of choosing a company that provides transparent pricing estimates and a clear process.

PLEASE read this review and others for transparent prices and honest reviews before getting blind sighted and swindled. Husband spoke to the scheduling representative and asked for a technician to come out for a diagnostic, they sent out a contractor and they identified an issue in the diagnostic and when we said thank you for your opinion we will look at repairs elsewhere because the price to replace a receptacle (wall outlet, non-GFCI) was quoted at $575.00 and that was something on a single income we were not comfortable paying, and he would not accept that as resolution for agreeing to just pay for a diagnostic assessment (roughly ten minutes to walk and talk of contractor time spent 'assessing'). Tim, said no, out the door this is $575 for services to include changing the receptacle. I said the only services rendered was the diagnostic we asked for, and asked for the price of a diagnostic and for 20+ minutes he refused to answer my question about how much a diagnostic assessment was. He kept saying I was taking advantage of him when no other services were performed. He became very disrespectful and said that he "hopes I get what's coming to me and hopes that I have horrible issues with my home", and all that. I agreed to the $150 diagnostic and to be done with him. We were referenced this company from a different business had had we read other community reviews we WOULD NOT have gone with this dishonorable and disrespectful business.
Response from Seals Electric
"Sorry to read this [Member Name Removed] but my employee came to your home to repair your electrical issues and he quoted you a price as he always do on jobs I send him to. I agreed with his diagnose as I always do because I trust him and I called your husband for payment and you took the phone from him while he agreed to pay and started crying about you'll don't have money because of all the other contractors coming to your home and charging you with only one income at your home so I agreed to help you and your husband from the kindness of my heart and never wished any harm to you or your husband even after you mentioned I was taking advantage of you. I then said I wish you the best of luck in the future never a threat we are proffesonial here at Seals Electric. Also I've never experienced any conversation with customers as we had. Again my electrician always give fair prices . Sorry for any inconvenience to you and your husband but no company wants to work for free.."

I asked Seals and 2 other pros for bids on lighting installation. They contacted me quickly, set up a time for the electrician, Moses, to come. Decent price for four fixtures, so had Moses do the work. He did an outstanding job, checking with me as each light was installed to make sure it was the right height, looked good, etc. I also had him replace 3 switches and a switch plate. He cleaned everything up once he was done. Fast, good work, decent price.

Timothy quoted me a reasonable price, arrived when he said he would, installed all the alarms. He was courteous and cleaned everything up after he was done with the project. I would highly recommend his company and would hire him again but unfortunately we are moving out of state.

Mr. Seals was professional from beginning to end. He communicated leading up to the appointment, was on time and completed the job in good time. He cleaned up after himself and the electrical work was done perfectly.
