Progressive HVAC

Would recommend for an old house that needs specialty care. Steve clearly knew how to work with the quirks of an old house and get the basics up to date with a new valve for the main shutoff, needing to make an access hole for the bathroom, etc. He was very communicative and pieced all the jobs together over a couple of days in a very busy season. This guy is clearly in high demand in the neighborhood and for good reason. He first came by to see the state of the house, ask questions, and give an estimate. He seemed to really care about the state of things and clients understanding what needs to be done and why. The guys came out over Labor Day weekend to get it all finished when they got behind with other emergency jobs and stopped by first thing on labor day to check in. He works non-stop. That said, C on price because it ended up being much more expensive (for a lot more work) than anticipated. Like, three times as much. I would rather get an accurate, higher quote and not be surprised when it turns out to be a weird house with difficult plumbing. We would still refer to Progressive for our next job but hold them to the quote!
