Merry Maids of Laurel

She and her team was awesome! They came in at 2:00 p.m. and finished around 7:30 p.m. with doing a town home with three levels with a full move out cleaning. The kitchen looks great! they dusted the baseboards and cleaned the bathrooms and the window seals and vacuum. We had a laundry area that they cleaned very well.

The quality of their work is poor, very surface oriented, and entirely dependent upon the amount of clutter they find in your room.  If they deem it too cluttered, they don't do anything, including make the bed (let alone change the sheets), vaccuum, dust.   There are entire rooms that they do not enter, unless reminded. After the third or fourth cleaning, I stayed at home to ensure that they did all the work in the contract.  At first they informed me that they weren't cleaning the rooms because it wasn't part of their contract,and asked for an additional $6.00 per room.  Once confirming that they were supposed to clean, they didn't refund me my $6.00 per room for the visits where they didn't enter.   We had some rooms that were full  of boxes since we were just moving in, but they have not bothered to open the door to clean these rooms even months later.    I also had to instruct them about dusting the large headboard on the bed, which had never been dusted by them.  I found that they only did it the time I stayed home.  And again the quality of the cleaning was lacking.  One check I do is the area immediately behind the faucets on the batthroom vanity sinks.  Not clean.  Also- the guest bedroom is generally not used from cleaning to cleaning, so if the carpet is not vaccuumed, it's easy to spot.  This happened at least twice. Terrible experience, would NEVER hire them again.

They were only there about 2 hours and the job was slightly more than cursory. They were not thorough and they were really in a hurry. I expected more for the money I was charged (monthly rate). I had different cleaning teams each time and although the first cleaning was good, it went downhill from there.

All in all, the cleaning was fine. I was not impressed enough to sign up for the monthly service. This first time was supposed to be the "deep clean," which had been described to me as dusting, vacuuming, floor cleaning, washing the inside of windows, baseboards, outside of appliances, etc. On the surface everything looked good, but I could tell there were some spots that were missed. They obviously didn't move my ottomans in the living room to vaccuum because there were still crumbs under them when I moved them myself that afternoon. The windows were not as well done as I would have expected, and the baseboards were barely clean. I also didn't feel like they put in as much time as I think it would take to "deep clean" my home. My husband and I could have spent the two hours it took them to do the same thing. I was really hoping for the deep clean and didn't get it, so I'm not rushing to sign up for the service that is technically less of a clean than that.

They were on time and worked hard.

ITS BEEN WONDERFUL. THEY SEND THE SAME GIRLS EACH TIME SO I DON'T HAVE A STRANGER IN MY HOME EACH WEEK. I COME HOME ON FRIDAY AFTER WORKING ALL WEEK AND MY HOME IS CLEAN I LOVE IT.
