Two movers w/truck arrived promptly as scheduled.  They did a walk through of the apartment (2 bedroom) to inventory all that had to be moved.  They set to work immediately and did not stop until all items were loaded on the truck (approx. 3.5 hours).  Every piece of furniture was carefully wrapped in clean moving blankets and taped securely.  The king size and queen size mattresses and box springs were wrapped in a protective plastic covering.  They disassembled anything that needed it being careful to keep the hardware with the item.  The movers were careful and meticulous.  These guys were all business and stayed focused on the job.  Once loaded they traveled to the house to unload.  It took about another 2.5 hours to finish the job, reassembling furniture, carrying boxes to the rooms labeled, removing doors if necessary.  Amazing work, professionalism and general work ethic!!
Needless to say, I was extremely happy with this company!

I can not say enough about how great our experience was.  We had a positive experience from the first phone call.  Scheduling was easy and everyone was very friendly.  The crew showed up early and immediately got to work.  They were methodical, quick, courteous and careful.  Everything was explained step-by-step.  It was very hot and humid for our move-in date and they never complained once.  They were very accommodating with moving some items into storage.  We will definitely be using them for our next move.

They were fantastic - they showed up early for both jobs, worked tirelessly for 12 hours and took great care of our stuff. We will use them for all future moves.

I contacted Iryna, their contact person who I believe to be one of the owners, on Friday, August 1st to find out about their availability and set up the appointment. On Saturday August 2nd Iryna sent me an email with her formatted moving estimate, job number, and other job particulars. It had a section for customer name and signature. Since I was the one setting up and paying for the job, I signed the form and faxed it on Monday August 4th, which was not requested. I called her around Wednesday August 6th to check on things to make sure she received my fax and signed form. Iryna informed me it was really not necessary and reassured me that the appointment was set and would be done without a hitch.







I made all the arrangements to rent the truck, make hotel reservations and travel to my daughter's apartment which is 400 miles away. We worked all day Thursday, August 14th and Friday, August 15th packing and organizing the furniture in order to be ready for them to show up at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday August 16th the scheduled date of service. They were not on time so I gave them about an extra 20 minutes before calling them to see why they hadn't arrived yet. When I spoke with Iryna she was surprised and said myself or my daughter or someone had called to cancel the Saturday appointment and rescheduled the service for the following Tuesday. I emphatically stated that I did not call and cancel the appointment and no one else from my family did. I asked whether she had tried to confirm with the caller the job number she had assigned or the telephone number or email address of the person she was speaking with to make certain it was the correct appointment she was changing. She said she had not confirmed who she was speaking with and that she was unable to check who had called because she doesnt keep those types of records. I restated that neither myself, or anyone else had contacted her since we had last spoken August 6th. I reminded her of the schedule that I was trying to stick to in order to make our 7 hour drive during the day time. She informed me the movers were on another job and could check with them and possibly get them over in the afternoon between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. After some deliberation we decided to just load the rented truck ourselves. About half way through loading the truck I contacted Iryna at Maxon Movers and said we were going to load the truck ourselves and cancelled their services.







I am just stunned at the incompetence in Maxon Movers office that led to this trouble and a very long day for us. I kicked myself for not following up further, but her reassurances the week prior, and their high grades on Angie's List and other websites led me to believe everything would go smoothly.

They were professional and personable.

Great. They came early with a large truck, surveyed the layout and got to work quickly. They wrapped anything that might be scratched (better than our last movers). Their 3-hour estimate was just right. I would use them again.

I contracted for 2 movers, one truck for 3 hours. I received a confirmation phone call a few days prior to the move. The men arrived exactly on time (10:00) and came prepared with a dolly and many blankets to wrap the furniture. They moved furniture and packed boxes. They also disassembled some pieces in order to get them through doors and/or up/down stairs. They were very professional and asked about anything they were unsure of. It took them approximately 1 hr. 15 min to load their truck. They were all business and very efficient. Once they arrived at my new home they were very patient and moved some pieces several times until I was certain of where I wanted it. These 2 guys were great, careful and polite. They unloaded the truck within the time limit I paid. They could have stretched out the job which would have required an additional hourly rate but they pushed themselves to complete the job in the time allotted. I would definitely recommend this company. Nice job, well done!!!

They were very good movers and most reasonable from all the quotes I
obtained around the area. I found them on Yelp and used their $50 off
coupon. The lady on the phone (Iryna) was very nice and helpful. The
movers were very efficient and professional. They started the job the
minute they walked in the door and did not waste time on any breaks.
They moved us into a house and made sure to ask us exactly which floor
each item goes on. Overall, we had a very good experience and I would
definitely recommend them to all our family and friends.

I would not recommend.

They were really accomidating. They set up two quick back to back appointments because the closing kept getting pushed back. They charged us accordingly instead of two full sets of work, which was nice. They were quick and very good in dealing with changes in scheduling. All around they were very accomodating.

The biggest problem I had with them was the language barrier. They would not unload my items until I was there to pay them. I had sent my friends over to be there when the truck arrived because I had to be somewhere else at the time. I would have thought they would have told me that up front. Then they let my cats out and I had to spend most of the day rounding them back into the house. They were not responsive to helping with getting the cats back in.
