It was fantastic. I would say that he's great, very hard working, very respectful, very polite, good with the communication, and followed the Covid guidelines.

Chris and his team did an excellent job remodeling our basement. They created a great setup for us by adding a full bathroom, enclosing our laundry room, and creating a living room and bonus room. The team was always respectful to us - particularly important during Covid - and wore masks. They made sure we were satisfied with the project and came back to do a few tweaks we requested. Chris and team have done a variety of work on our home - from replacing doors to plumbing and electric to general handyman jobs. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

The Maryland Renovations team did an amazing job! I was thrilled with the finished product. The work they did was professional, on time, and great attention to detail.

First, I'll say the drywall repairs look very good. And I'll add that I bear some responsibility for signing a contract that didn't include, in writing, everything that was discussed during the estimate. But I'm sure that I explained that the ceilings were painted in shell white (not plain ceiling white) and that the bathroom ceiling was clearly semigloss finish, not flat. The contract did specify that the drywall was to be primed with "Kilz" prior to painting, since there were some stained areas surrounding the drywall that needed to be replaced. On the day of work, however, the employee and foreman (the same one who had prepared the estimate) arrived with a gallon of plain ceiling white and no primer. Luckily, I had leftover primer and flat shell white paint in my basement, so I supplied those. But the first gallon of semi-gloss shell white paint I gave the workman turned out to be spoiled, and I couldn't locate the correct paint immediately, so he painted areas of the bathroom ceiling in mismatched flat white. When the foreman arrived to collect the final check, I complained about the problem. He took 3% off the price (to cover my obtaining a new quart of semi-gloss shell white paint) and promised to return the next day to touch up the bathroom ceiling. I had the paint available the next morning, but while he called to say he would be out in the afternoon, he never showed up. I called him back the next day, and asked for another 3% off, in exchange for my painting the ceiling myself over the coming weekend. I was told he would have to "ask his boss." He called back once more the following Monday to ask if the ceiling still needed touch-up, but I had already painted it myself. I never got the additional 3% refund I had requested.
