Maid Karma

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I booked Maid Karma for a Move- Out cleaning and was extremely unsatisfied with their service. I reached out to Maid Karma after the cleaning on 27 June stating multiple areas were left very dirty including the walls (which they informed was not included) and that my landlord was on the way to inspect the house so they could not come back to reclean. I sent photos of all the unclean areas and was told they would get back to me. I sent a second email with the photos again on 29 June after not receiving a call back, requesting a refund because I am being invoiced by my landlord for not cleaning. They responded they could not refund me for the services because the walls were not included in the service, I stated that they failed to clean the floors, baseboards, sink handles, and stove knobs, all of which is included in the Move out cleaning. I also attached the photos showing where they had failed to clean those areas. After this I was told to call the director (David) when I spoke to him he informed me he agreed the cleaners had missed multiple areas but the job was too large for them to complete and they messed up by not informing me at the beginning of the cleaning. I also mentioned that the website estimated that they would be done cleaning in 7.5 hours but the cleaners left an hour and half early. The Director offered a 20% refund which was not acceptable to me because it does not cover the cost of having the house recleaned. Also it was only offered after the Director had insulted me by saying my house looked as though it had not been cleaned in years, even though he admitted he never saw the house and no photos were taken of the house beforehand. I called the Director again after the issue was not resolved the first time and he did not answer nor did he call me back. I would not recommend this company to anyone, in fact I have actively told friends and family not to use them.
