Turned out to be a frozen hose bib, as suspected. Kevin, the plumber, suggested several options, including structural changes he suggested I have done, after which I decided to cap the line until the weather improves. I consider the rate reasonable because he came on a Saturday after returning my call Friday evening in about an hour. Kevin does not advertise because he generally has as much work as he can handle, but if you live in the West Laurel area, consider him as an good option.

I have used this company for several years as I appreciate the professionalism and quality of the work done.

I had previously found an installer's sticker on the garbage disposal in our home at the time we purchased this house. After using several other companies for plumbing issues and feeling highly over-charged or very disappointed in the quality of work demonstrated, I decided to try this company last year when the disposal died. I was pleasantly surprised at the response time and quality of work. Not only did they perform the work requested (installation of a new garbage disposal) but they were very wiling to offer suggestions regarding other plumbing issues in our home. Without hesitation, when I discovered a large leak under my kitchen sink yesterday (Christmas), rather than call the company who had installed my new countertops, sink and faucet this past summer, I immediately called Arthur Black Plumbing. I knew the job would be done correctly. Within hours of my call, they arrived and discovered not only had the connections been made incorrectly by the plumber hired by the countertop company, but the actual garbage disposal they'd reinstalled during the countertop renovation had not been sealed or connected. It was just hanging loosely in the sink hole. Thus...a major leak. Now, everything is correctly installed, attached, relocated and working as it was before the new countertops, sink and faucet--thanks to Arthur Black, Inc.

I would recommend him to people. He did a very good job cleaning up after himself. They were a little bit difficult to get try and get an appointment with them.

THEY ARE SOMEONE THAT WE HAVE USED BEFORE. THEY WERE PUNCTUAL. THEY WERE EXCELLENT. THEY SHOWED UP AT THEIR SCHEDULED TIME, AND EVERYTHING WAS DONE COMPLETE AND CORRECT.

THEIR PRICES WERE AFFORDABLE. THEY LEFT THE BATHROOMS IN ORDER. THEIR WERE A FEW STAINS ON THE FLOOR BUT THEY CLEANED IT UP AFTERWARDS. WE HAD EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION.
