We replaced our cell phones to get new ones.They were expensive. They gave me $200 for rebate for my Samsung in trade for my old cell phone and they didn't do that  for my wife's Apple phone. It is $20 for my Samsung and $27 for her phone. They gave us a tablet as well but there is a $10 a month for the tablet. I think it is rental and I don't think they are doing leasing. I prefer to buy it outright. The phone is cheaper to buy outright then a 2 year contract. Even though they lease you the phones, they are made to only work on the Verizon network, and I don't like that because if I want to change carriers which is what I wanted to do on the older phones, I was told that I can't do that and compare a price with another carrier. It can't be unlocked and used on somebody else's network. They need to make the phones unlockable.

I've never had a problem connecting to the Internet with Verizon Wireless and I have all the landline phone features such as voicemail, caller ID, and call waiting. The customer service is nice but I have to call a central number in a different state so they don't always know how to help me. Also, they automatically send you to wireless services when I may have issues with the Internet or landline. However, I will continue to use them because they are the least annoying compared to their competitors.
