Mary, to whom my cats responded very well, visited my house daily to feed and interact with my cats. She kept me updated with clear, informative observations via text messages, and kept daily notes as well. A major snowstorm hit while I was away, delaying my flight for several days. Mary took all of this in stride. She not only made it to my house to care for the cats, but she also arranged for snow shoveling! Throughout this, she remained in excellent communication - just the right amount of contact and information. I returned to happy, healthy cats and a calm situation.

We've used McDougal's pet care on many occasions and have never been less than satisfied. The chores are always done. Mary leaves detailed notes about the cats and how they are acting when she is around and she shows obvious affection for them. She is very professional and personable and is a pleasure to work with.

Mary was great all around. She responded to phone calls promptly, quickly furnished us with references when requested, and visited our house for an interview a few days before we left. She was professional and responsible, asking a lot of questions about things that I wouldn't necessarily have remembered to tell her about. She learned how to use our alarm system, too, and was extremely conscientious about the information she gathered - even contacting me later to make sure that she had the right information regarding the veterinarian. What I liked most was her conscientiousness - she left a detailed note that made me feel better when I came back, and asks that we be sure to call her when we return so that she knows she doesn't have to come back. I feel very safe having her in the home, I feel confident that she plays with them and knows how to care for them, and I love knowing that, should something happen that delays my return, the cats will be taken care of. She did a great job.

She is great. I have never worried that she was not going to come. If anything is ever wrong with my cats or house she will call. We had an older cat and she would actually give her massages. She truly is a wonderfully caring individual. I have no problem with her having a key to my house.

Mary McDougal is one of the most reliable and trustworthy people I know. When she came to our home she got the mail for us daily, rotated the lights and gave our dog fresh water and made sure there was food in her bowl. She has numerous services that she provides. If you pay for 10 visits in advance, she gives you a discount. She will also walk your dog and pick up and dispose of the poop.
