Great, they did work that other shops said would require a whole exhaust system replacement. Work was performed at their Goss' Garage II location.

The staff at Goss' Garage were very professional...dropped my truck off in the morning, got a call to see what type of oil I regularly used...later got a call stating my air filter needed changing...my truck was ready when promised...the price that was quoted was what I paid...they also recommended some things I may want to have done in the future, there was no pressure...I would recommend Goss' Garage to anyone requiring auto repair services...their prices are by far cheaper than the dealer & the work is superb.

They were way less expensive then the dealer. They staff was friendly and knowledgable. They were great. They call back for a follow-up. They were very prompt. They are a good place to get car serviced. They are honest. They post prices so you don't feel like you are getting ripped off.

These guys are great. They were willing to do the reapair without gouging me for the parts. I bought parts online and they installed. My truck runs like new. These are the guys I would take my vehicle to if I was going to keep it.

They're very honest and they tell you what you need and things like that. They don't suggest unnecessary maintenance and those kind of things.

The technician was very knowledgeable and pinpointed the problem right away. A seized axle bearing bracket had to be cut off and another one ordered. I picked up my car the next day. I commend technician Jim Stewart for a job well done.

I have been going to Goss Garage now for about two years. I have been driving since 1966 and owned and kept private and company vehicles for all that time without ever feeling as comfortable with the ethics, competence and professional knowledge of any garage as I have developed with this crew. They are good diagnosticians for a start and they get the job done right.
My forty-five years of car ownership including a company fleet has meant a lot of miles, a lot car servicing, and a lot of discomfort with other service providers. Dealers will charge easily double the price of Goss Garage and frequently sell you parts and service you don't need. Forget about the national chains: the muffler, the oil changers, and brake outfits whose mechanics' credentials are sketchy and pricing is as ambiguous as the market will bear. Neither have I had luck with other neighborhood garages, encountering the same line of puffery and dodgy work.
Goss Garage Owner Pat Goss is MPT and Discovery channels' DIY car care darling. He knows cars. And I will testify he knows how to run a car care business. The mechanics are sharp (kudos, Anthony) . The front of the house is, too (bouquets to Billy and Marcy). And you will occasionally get a glimpse of Mr. Goss himself. They treat women well. Discounts are offered to public safety and military men and women. I am sold.

In my previous visit, they had told me that my coolant level was low. They also had recommended polishing my headlights. I asked for an oral estimate and was told something within the range of $30 each. So, in this visit, after asking them to do a pressure test for the coolant leak, I also asked them to polish the lights.
The service was done on time. However, when I was told the bill of $350, I was shocked. $170 for polishing headlights (normally around $70)! Why would I spend that much for cosmetics on an 11-year old car worth $2000. In addition, they recommended a battery change for $140. Given my car was already in the shop, and that a battery change doesn't take longer than 5 minutes of labor, why would they charge so much. As for the coolant leak, it did not show during the pressure test, and they put dye in the coolant circulator and told me to return after a couple of weeks.
As I had already payed for the dye test for the coolant leak, I went back to them. They told me that the biggest coolant leak was from the water pump, which would cost me $1000 to repair (along with a timing belt replacement, and a few drive belts that might as well be done). They also found some minor leaks in some hosing which would cost $235. I asked them about lowering my costs and also if they were sure that the water pump was at fault. They were quite patient with me, and had the mechanic who looked at the car to talk to me. He said he was quite sure of it, and that there was nothing else that could be done.
With their estimates being expensive, I decided to take things in my own hands. Looking at the coolant drips below the car, I found that the biggest coolant leaks were the hoses. I am never going back to Goss' garage ever. They are too expensive, and suggest repairs without being sure. One might as well take the car to the manufacturer's dealer to have it repaired.

Don't have too much to say. Everything was timely and as requested. They didn't try to fix something that wasn't broken. Reasonable charges.

Goss' Garage's thoroughness really stood out to me. Their price was too much for my liking. It was too expensive and I will not take a car there again. They also were not very personable and were very dry and to the point which is not my type of business relationship.

I am *more* than pleased to find a garage that's friendly, clean, professional--and one that charges a fair price. I'm even more pleased because we drive an Audi, and finding professionals that can even work on them can be difficult. (I even tried a garage recommended by the Audi Club, but they don't believe in returning calls. After I finally reached them on my third try--after two un-returned calls--they told us they would order the necessary part for us. That was in April. We still haven't heard from them--it's now August. Guess our problem wasn't expensive enough.) Anyway, the service and part replacement was done on time and on budget without blowing a hole through our wallet. I am very, very pleased. They most certainly have gained a new and loyal client.

I have an ancient Mercedes and I needed to have my power steering repaired. I have been using Pat for years and I have always had a good experience. I would highly recommend him to anyone! I do trust him because he is very honest; I know nothing about cars and I feel like he always gives me the best service.

Goss's price was kind of higher than the other automotive repair place but I like that Goss did not try to pressure me into anything. I do think they can move a little faster though and give a little more attention. I guess maybe that was because there was only one guy at the counter and he was under a little bit of stress. I am really not sure to if I would rehire them or not.

They fixed the exhaust system and put on the new tires. I was thrilled to get it through inspection for such a reasonable charge. The car is running great! Thanks Goss' Garage!
