Description of Work: Because I am in the process of legal action concerning the damage that I believe has been created by Full Spectrum LLC, I will not comment on the details of my interaction with Mr. Swor as of yet. I can tell you however, that according to the MHIC (Maryland Home Improvement Commission), Mr. Swor's contracting license is expired in December. Be warned, before doing business with this or any contractor, check State licenses and certifications to legally do work before hiring. Doing so may save you tons of hassle and the expense of fixing what may have been done incorrectly.

Response from Full Spectrum Contractors
I have no choice but to respond to this review, and it is difficult to go back and forth with a customer and not something I want to do, but the reputation of my company is not correctly reflected by this review. There are so many unlicensed companies out there doing business, performing terrible work, or worse by ripping folks off by splitting after they receive a deposit. We ARE a licensed MHIC company who has an impeccable reputation, we warranty all of our work and stand by that, but we have one review on Angies List which is the one I am addressing, and we are scarred deeply because of it. Member employed us to install completely customized shower tile, with a full mosaic "picture" on the back wall as layed out by him. Member completed all the framing of the shower himself, installed all drainage, diverter, plumbing, underlayment, etc. We were hired to install customer provided tile on the shower walls, the mudpan, inside recessed shelves, on the ceiling, and to cut every piece of different colored tile to create the mosaic picture on the back wall. We did a good job with the structure we were given to work with. There were a few flaws in some of the tiles I will freely admit. The framing and underlayment installed by Member himself was not level, and the recessed shelves he built were not level once the underlayment was installed. He picked us apart on everything that we did that was off because of the structure we were given to work with. We were beat down on our price before the project began, he was given a penomenal price for the detail the work entailed, but we did not cut any corners or provide shotty work because of that. At the conclusion of the job we were paid in full, provided Member with receipt of final payment and went on our way. At no time during that final payment were any issues brought to our attention. Nothing was mentioned about the shower tile until a month and half later when I received a phone call about some issues with the tile. I personally went to Member's home on a Saturday, told him that I agreed there were some tile issues and I would be willing to fix any of our defects free of charge because again, I warranty all of our work, and I CARE!!! How many contractors would come back a month after a job was complete and paid, and offer to come back to fix some issues for free. WE DO, because that is the true character of myself and my company. What Member has failed to mention is that I offered to take care of the issues and he would not let me send my guys back to fix some out of place and some unlevel tiles despite numersous conversations about us fixing the issues. It got to the point where Member's only solution was a full refund of the total $2,100 that we were paid. It was a highly technical, highly customized job and we did a good job, but not to my standards or my companies. I was fully prepared to fix the few issues that were present, but it became clear to me that it was strictly a full reimbursement issue and not an issue of fixing some of the tile work. Again, I do not like doing this, I do not like going back and forth with a customer because I appreciate every customer that I have, but I cannot let myself be slammed and have everyone out there have a terrible opinion of my company and my character personally without knowing all of the facts. There are still a few of us contractors that care about folks and take pride in the work that we do, and I am one of those contractors. I care about the reputation of my company, I take pride in the work that we do, I love seeing our customers happy with the work we provide, it is why I continue in this business, and why I will never do anything else. This job did not turn out the way hundreds of our other jobs have turned out and I feel horrible about that, but I cannot give a full refund for some out of place tiles that I was more than willing to come back and replace but was denied the opportunity to do so. If that makes Full Spectrum Contractors, LLC and myself Shawn P. Swor - Owner/Project Manager a terrible and malicious contractor then I am guilty of what you call me, but it will now be my mission to reach out to so many of my customers past and present that I still maintain relationships with to this day, to give their review of myself, my company, and our quality of services, and then you will see a much different picture. Respectfully, Shawn P. Swor Owner/Project Manager Full Spectrum Contractors, LLC
