We have been very pleased with the work of South Mountain Lawn & Landscape. Jamie is easy to contact and their quality of work is very good.

We used this company twice. The first time was last week and  it was ok. This time it was awful!! The grass is uneven, they scalped a few spots in my grass and there is grass blown all over the yard. And when we tried to call the owner to see if he had someone else new do it because the lawn looked terrible, his response was, well ill pass on cutting it again! I feel that was very unprofessional. I would not recommend this company at all!!! This is the worse my lawn has ever looked. i will post pictures if i can.

Jame Rose is the best. He's honest, reliable, and trustworthy and a great landscaper. I had let my vegetable garden and flower beds go in the past year so they had become overgrown with weeds. Jamie came out and gave me an estimate and did a beautiful job. My backyard is no longer an eyesore. I chose Jamie because I had him do an estimate a year before for installing a french drain which I thought would resolve a flooding issue in my backyard that was running into the street. He was honest to tell me that the french drain would not solve the problem. It was because of his honesty that I hired him and will continue to hire him for my lawn/yard work needs. Highly recommend him.

went great, south mountain had short notice and accommodated.  second time i have used them for spring cleanup and in this case landscaping.  knowledgeable and polite i would recommend to anyone based on my experiences.

We had this vendor since the beginning of May and so far we are very satisfied with his services.  Jamie Rose, the proprietor, and his staff have done excellent work with the cleanup, mulching, mowing, and inspection.  Weed treatment, mapping of plants, and consulting regarding additional plants is to be performed in the near future and if his services to date is any indication, we look forward to these services being performed as well. 
We relied on Angie's List in selecting this vendor and the experience we have had validates to us the use of Angie's List in researching and selecting service providers.

Jamie came out ahead of time to look at the job and give me a firm price. He and his crew arrived right on time and worked quickly and efficiently. The cleanup was meticulous. I will definitely call on them for my next yard project.

Jamie of South Mountain did an excellent job of snow removal during the last epic storm of this particularly snowy winter (Feb 2014). He cleared my residential drive and walkways amidst the heaviest snow in years, quick and tidy. I want to use his company for the long term. I highly recommend Jamie and South Mountain. We needed someone reliable to do snow removal and Jamie fit the bill. He has been prompt,efficient and great at plowing us out. His prices are reasonable and we plan to use his landscape services once this unending winter is over. If you want someone who responds quickly both in person and on the phone, this is the provider for you!

He is very good. He did a beautiful job. He also put in a rock wall for me a number of years ago and it is still beautiful. I would highly recommend him. He is very dependable and does exactly what he says he is going to do.

We've had ZERO problem with South Mountain, which was a relief after having gone through three other providers which either never showed up or you had to call dozens of time to get them to do the job!
South Mountain has kept on top of the job ever since we started with them over a year and a half ago, without ever having to call to get them to do the work. In the spring, he calls me and asks if we want spring cleanup done (clean up flower beds, tree beds, lawn debris, and does the mulching). It's an extra one-time charge for it, but well worth it!
We pay a flat monthly fee 12 months a year, and in return they take care of the lawns and snow removal. We feel it's a great value, easier to budget that way, and we never have to worry about running into trouble with the HOA over not getting to the snow on the sidewalk in time (it's not our primary residence).
Should we have any landscaping done in the future, South Mountain will be our first call!
