My husband and I called a few places for different quotes. The other place we called was also on Angies list and it was a good company as far as we could tell, and they would have worked with us if we needed to save money.  But, the reason why we did not go with them and picked Chimney Doctors instead is because Chimney Doctors were to us more professional and we didn't feel "pressured".  My husband was very pleased with their work and  professionalism. We would definitely recommend them.

They came to do a repair.  They were a little more expensive than deal we purchase3d but we wanted to make sure that it was done right.

After getting three in home inspections and estimates for different companies,we settled on Chimney Dr. due to the thoroughness of the inspection, the knowledge of the inspectors and their price.

We truly have no complaints, they were great and we will continue to use this company to inspect our chimney when needed. Be aware that if you have an old masonry chimney flue replaced, be sure to cover everything in your house! No matter how diligent and careful a company is there will be fine dust everywhere. This is not a complaint, Chimney Dr.'s guys were very conscientious and careful but there isn't a way to avoid it, so do your big spring cleaning after getting your chimney done! 

Chimney Dr. did the job they said they would do, were friendly, communicative and careful. They took the time to show me midway through the, job their progress and made a messy, expensive job as much of a delight as a company can!

did a good job just did not clean the inside of the fireplaces out.

All went very well.  The Chimney Doctor showed up at 9:00 with a crew of three men and finished the job well before lunch.  The work was neat, quick and as advertised.  There were no surprises and no debris left behind for me to deal with.  The only inconvenience I had was in contacting the company.  I often had to leave a voice mail and await a return call.  That's frustrating.  However, the company came highly recommended by the heating company who was installing my new boiler at the time (and who also was an Angie's list A-rated company), so I stuck with it.  In the end I was very happy with the job.

I like them because they do a thorough job.  They do a full inspection, and not just a cleaning.

I liked their price and promptness. Their professionalism was fine. The work was messy, but that was understandable because it is hard to clean up after a chimney; on the other hand, they did not make any effort to clean up where mortar and so forth had dropped. I am hoping that their quality is good. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

The workers at Chimney doctor were timely and they did a good job. I am very satisfied with their work. I have no complaints about them. They were punctual, professional, responsive.
