I had a chair and ottoman recovered. It was professionally done and beautiful. I wish I could say the same for the customer service. I originally choose fabric in March but didn't receive my chair until July. After a series of mistakes and mixed messages from the 3 owners, I finally got my chair. If you go with this company be sure to keep all estimates, invoices, due dates, emails and phone messages. Deal with only one of the owners, not all three. Each one gave a different message to me.

We have a 20+ year old rocker that needed cushions and fabric replaced and buying a new one wasn't an option. Upholstery Restoration happened to be right in our neighborhood. They followed COVID precautions- they were responsive to emails and we were able to come to the store and select fabric (large selection with various price points) . They were able to pick up and deliver the rocker! They are very busy and it took about a month to get it back but it was worth the wait. We are very happy with the outcome- more comfortable and provides better support than before.

It was spectacular. Previously, this company re-springed and re-stuffed this furniture and, against their strong recommendation but with my insistence, put on the original upholstery (sentimental issue on my part). This was heroic, and they did not introduce one new rip in highly sensitive, fragile and aged upholstery. Then 15 years later I returned with a request to improve it and re-upholster. I didn't know the best choices for upholstery, and they guided my decision-making without big footing, and it was painless. The furniture is now restored to its shockingly spectacular 1920s splendour and I could not be more pleased. The service was unfailingly considerate; indeed, halfway through I thought I changed my mind about one aspect, and they invited me into the working area to discuss our best options, without judgment. The pickup and delivery were executed by workers who were extra-careful both with the furniture and the surround, and they were willing to rearrange other furniture to make sure everything was where I wanted it. This is only my latest experience with these extraordinary crafts people. It's a family enterprise, and there is so much talent in that group. This was a sofa and two plush armchairs that needed enormous work. When they discovered new problems with the furniture, they extended discounts on the repairs, too! I've included before and after. The photos don't do justice to the spectacular change in our room.

The chairs are very comfortable to sit in again. They were done at different times, one in May and one in August. Both times I had to follow-up around the time they were supposed to be finished, and in both cases they had not been started. They were completed within a few days of my follow-up however.

Amazing service and attention to detail from quote to delivery. They contacted me several times during the process to check on important details to assure job would be perfect. Delivery staff was able to manage tight staircase that the original furniture delivery company could not. Price was very competitive given the size of the job and high quality. The best experience I have had with a reupholsterer, and I've had many. Will definitely recommend UR&SF to friends in the trade. GREAT JOB!

This was a great experience. The company reupholstered the chairs after refinishing the wood, and supplying new foam. They were very prompt in finishing the work and delivering the chairs. They were significantly cheaper than other estimates. We supplied our own fabric. We have already recommended them to other people including an interior designer.

Excellent professional, responsive work and dealings with this company. We have a sofa and two love seats, the seating areas of which had become softer than we like. After looking at fabric, we decided to keep the original fabric. Dave was very helpful in assisting us while looking at the fabric and in deciding which type of foam to use. The sofa and love seats look like new and now they feel like new! The company does excellent work, is very responsive. Great delivery team too.

They did a fantastic job and I'm very pleased with my sofa. The work was perfect and the color and quality of the material are great! They were very helpful as I tried to narrow all my choices. They were two Weeks late on completion and called several times about an additional charge I ended up paying, but the craftsmanship was fantastic and I get compliments on my sofa on a regular basis.

Beverly provided me with outstanding advice in choosing fabrics that would work with my interior design and the upholstery work was well-executed and produced an outstanding result.
