Quality Discount Tire & Auto

I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day during a busy holiday week. Although the tires were not in stock, they were able to order and get the tires next day. I dropped off my vehicle overnight and was out the door with new tires before 10. The selection and price for the tires and installation was great, even compared to the popular online sites. I love the fact that the price quoted (online or phone) was an "out the door" price, with no surprises. This will be the first place I call for tires...instead of Costco.

It took about an hour for the oil change to be completed. They are honest and their price is right, and they are very professional.

I am eternally grateful. David was the only one including other stores who took the time to find the wheel. It was 2005 so Chrysler doesn’t make it anymore, and they couldn’t find one.

I came in with a punctured tire without an appointment. They were very friendly and professional and got my tire fixed the same day. Even gave me a ride to the metro.

Excellent service. I arrived early for my appointment, they took me right away and did a great job with the tires. Price was exactly as estimated. The people working here were genuinely concerned about providing good customer service. I will be back for my future needs.

The service was fine. The staff was great. I order tires from Tire Rec and got them delivered there and they installed them. I waited for the tires to be put on and there was a lot of people. I waited for about an hour. There is a cafe very close by so while you wait you can get a coffee. They were very efficient and courteous.

These guys are great about explaining what they are doing, being honest with you about whether repairs need to be done right away or can wait a bit (and what the consequences will be), and giving a fair price. Cory especially is incredibly knowledgeable and will get to know you and your car. Their waiting room is pretty comfy now if you wind up having to wait a bit. They are always my first stop whenever anything is wrong with the car because I know they will be honest and fair with me.

We have used Quality Discount Tire for a while now. We started when we needed tires and found out that they more than tires. We keep returning due to their honesty, knowledge and reasonable prices. The best part is that they do not look for other things to pad the bill. Oil changes at other places always seemed to double in price (or more) because they always found additional work that needed to be done for and quot;safetyand quot; reasons. After a winter rescue by AAA, the AAA truck told us we would need a new battery soon. He pushed hard for us to buy one from him which we declined. We took the car to Quality Discount Tire and I asked them to check the battery. They did the oil change, showed me the battery was fine. All for $30. Extremely reasonable! It's not a plush place, but they are moving down the street to a bigger facility. They also have free wifi in the waiting area.

After a phone call to Quality, Corey got me to the shop for what I thought was a new tire, but after getting lost a couple of times getting there and being rescused by Steve, I was told that I didn't need a new tire, just a repair.  Made an appointment for the next day and the tire was fixed very quickly.  It's a very busy place and everyone is smiling and willing to help.  I also noticed the discreet changing of the TV channel when an obnoxious show came on while I was in the waiting area.  Of course I'll be going back in the Fall to make sure my tires and car are ok for a cross-country trip!

I have nothing but praise for this shop. I wouldn't consider taking my car to anybody else. Their service is excellent; work is promptly performed and their prices very good.

Corey over at Quality Tire was absolutely great in helping us find the appropriate tires for our needs on our small SUV. He patiently answered all our questions and concerns over both phone and email, and was honest if he thought a particular tire was more then we needed. Once we decided on the make and model tires we wanted, he made us an appointment for a Saturday morning which meant we were in an out in a very timely manner.
We would highly recommend Quality Tires and certainly use them in the future. Their prices were competitive and although one may have been able to save a few bucks at a big box store, the level of customer service would not have been the same. We are very pleased with our experience.

I went in originally to have a nail pulled out of my tire, he pulled the nail out of the tire. Tom the owner made suggestions and said I should probably get at least two new tires before the winter. I went back about a week later to have all new tires put on my vehicle. They changed all the tires in 45 minutes. The tires I purchased have a $70 rebate.

Professional, on time, on budget, honest

The tires have held up pretty well so far. All other service has been excellent, so much so that I have sent friends and family there as well. And my husband is thrilled to have the AC working again!

I have used this tire store since I moved to Chevy Chase. I have always found them to be completely honest with all of my tire needs and reasonably priced. It is a family run operation with very good mechanics on duty. They have also done oil changes and other minor car repairs over the years. Highly recommended.

It was excellent. They were fantastic! It was a really inexpensive service for transmission work! I recommend them!

They were excellent and were very accommodating. We have used them a couple of times, but one time in particular they were able to squeak us in just at closing time and it was great.
