Excellent I cant find a better company for tree service. They were always professional and ahs a fair price.

Great! Mulheron responded immediately to my e-mails and online inquiry. The work was rescheduled due to rain, but that wasn't their fault. They did a great job of removing the dying tree without harming two others with which it was intertwined.

The woman I talked to on the phone was extremely helpful. She arranged for an estimate and got back to me right away. I received the estimate and had a crew out to remove my tree that day. It was excellent service at a reasonable price. I will definitely use them again.

Mulheron Tree removed 250,000 lbs of trees, taking care to minimize damage to our property and restoring all areas of grass that were impacted by their equipment. Their staff consists of extremely competent, hard working individuals, many of whom have been with the company more than 20 years. I was really surprised at how quickly they were able to complete this huge job and haul away the lumber. I would (and have) recommend them to anyone in the area in need of their services.

Work was scheduled and completed after 1.5 weeks

Quite well, after a 3-hour delayed start. All work was finished by the end of the day, and the removal and clean-up work was well done.

Played phone tag for a while but finally received quote have not chosen the company for the work yet. They were a little high then other quotes, however they can do some work the other company can not.

It went extremely well. Mulheron showed up on time and the crew was very skilled and professional. They had to maneuver their truck down our neighbor's driveway to the back of their house to reach the tree in our yard, and they had to move the bucket crane around while working near another large tree without damaging it. The work was completed within several hours and the crew cleaned up completely afterwards. Both we and our neighbors were very satisfied with how the job was handled and with the result.

Workers arrived on the date/time scheduled, completed the work in under 3 hours, cleaned up the area, backfilled the hole, smoothed everything out and left. They did a very professional job.

Our neighbor shares a tree with us that we needed to have trimmed. It took over a month to get them to come and do the work. By the time they got there, it was winter and all the berries had fallen off anyway, so they weren't able to prevent us from tracking them in for an additional month. They scheduled to come out at least three times and didn't show up, explaining that other priorities came up after-the-fact. Eventually they came out. They only trimmed the branches over the house. They left all the branches over the sidewalk. When they started packing up, I went out to ask them why they hadn't finished. They said they were done and to talk to Kathy if I had a problem. This was on Friday before New Year's Eve at 3p, so no one was in the office and I didn't get a call back until after the New Year. I was told someone would be sent out to look at the tree. This never happened. Eventually we received a bill. We kept inquiring over email and got no response ... just another bill. My neighbor says they got a response recently that someone came out, and said the tree was fine, even though it clearly isn't cut to what we agreed. They said that cutting the tree that way is bad for it, and sent another bill. I've since researched it and read that tree topping is bad, and that you shouldn't do it. My guess is that's what is going on here ... but I don't know because no one is explaining anything. Maybe they (Mulheron) have a philosophical issue against tree topping, but if so, that should have been explained by someone, preferably BEFORE writing the contract when our expectation was to get our tree topped. And they still should have cut the branches over the sidewalk, since that was half the point of getting the tree trimmed in the first place. Our neighbors were all able to get their trees cut within a week with far less stress. We're going to hire one of the people they used to do the job correctly. I don't have a cost-comparison yet.

Excellent. Very thorough and professionally done with a very competitive price and in a very timely way. There were several large trees (50+ yrs) and they were taken down in a safe and detailed manner. This was a complicated job near property lines and stone retaining walls and they did it without any issues whatsoever. They especially made sure my neighbors were not impacted in any way. They also ground up the stumps and I used the mulch around the garden areas. Clean up was SUPERB! Kathy Dillman is the ultimate scheduling and support person - working around my time constraints and availability. She is totally focused on customer service and satisfaction. THESE PEOPLE ARE AWESOME!

EXCELLENT JOB!! I've used these folks several times over the years and they are detailed oriented, knowledgeable, thorough, and totally professional in every way. Showed up on time, got it all done, and cleaned up like it never happened. Their prices were competitive - don't even call anyone else.

Ed Mulheron came to give an estimate same day I called for an appt and when I was coming into neighborhood from work I saw his truck so stopped - he turned around and came back to the house to discuss with my husband and me what had to be done and answer our questions. I received an email with the proposed work and estimate within 2 days and when I asked the office manager whether they ever would match a competitor's lower price she said that he would certainly consider it and I received an amended estimate matching the lower price by email 2 days later. They promptly scheduled the job for about 1 wk later saying that they would arrive between 8-8:30AM. As we had left for work, my neighbor reported later that the crew was there at the appointed time and were completed by early afternoon after climbing, cutting and lowering each piece carefully to the ground. When I got home that evening I was amazed that there was not only not a bit of damage to the surrounding plantings but that the site was immaculate. Other than the tree being gone and a few bits of saw dust in odd places you would not have known that anyone was there. Due to the ensuing week of heavy rain, the stump grinding had to be delayed until the following week and again the plantings were not damaged and the site totally clean when they left. They also did a visual inspection of the cabling in a huge bifurcated trunk oak in the yard and assured me that nothing further was needed and also removed a dead limb on another tree. We were thrilled with their professionalism, promptness and extreme care. Several neighbors came by during the work and were also very impressed. We will gladly continue use them for any future tree work.

Arrived on time and did a highly professional job. Completed the removal - totally within 2 days. The only reason I did not give an A is that I am having to repair the mushroom lights that were damaged during the removal process. All 6 lights shorted out and 2 have missing screws that secure the covers on the lights.I would definitely use this company again. Mr. Mulheron personally repaired the gate that the workers took down to facilitate the removal of debris from the back to the front yard. They had not properly remounted it.

Mulheron was wonderful. Ed came out and looked at the site and the diseased tree. After Kathy, in the office, notified and received an ok from the historic commission, they arrived on 5/6/15 with 3 men, sawed the limbs and took down the old, diseased maple on our drive-way close to the house. My husband was very impressed with their removal. The men were very careful, efficient, professional, and pleasant. Since the crew were unable to remove the tree stump, the stump expert came the next day and removed it. Before the removal, we had asked to have the limbs cut up and given to one of our neighbors. My husband and the group carried the limbs to their house. The next day, the crew came back and removed the stump. The tree removal was painless. In addition, we no longer have to worry about limbs falling on our house.

Never heard back from them. I have used them company in the past and they did a really good job for me. I was dis pointed that I never heard back from this time.

We had a tree that was in imminent danger of coming down on the house. I called and spoke to Kathy, who was incredibly nice and helpful. The owner of the business, Ed, was out to look at the tree in short order and provided honest, straight forward advice on how to proceed. The removal crew was there that afternoon to remove the dangerous tree. It rare to find a business that is so responsive, professional and pleasant to deal with, even in a stressful situation. We will never use another provider to care for our many large trees...it's Mulheron from here on out. Absolutely first rate.

DId the project on time and did a proper job. Minor detail: did not place the wood where agreed in contract, however, this was not a major flaw. In general very pleased with work.

Crew worked efficiently, thoroughly; crew leader pleasant, willing to listen to concerns of homeowner.

Ed Mulheron, the president of the company, arrived at the appointed time. I met him in my back yard. When he saw me, he seemed to have expected someone else. He spent only about ten minutes in the yard and almost reluctantly handed me his card. I had another tree company arrive the day before and they walked me around the yard and discussed a very helpful detailed plan for pruning and keeping my healthy trees well. Ed did none of this. I had to assert the plan for the work! Before leaving, he did not even mention providing a written estimate. I asked him about it and he agreed to forward an estimate. He never provided the estimate. Several days later, I called him asking when I may expect to receive his estimate. He told me that he would contact the office and "call me right back." Days later, I have still not heard back from him. This company, Mulheron Tree Experts, and specifically, its president, does not want your business. So, do not waste your time meeting with them.

I had an emergency situation and the service provider was unable to provide services in an timely manner (which they should have told me up front), and then the services that were provided were patently insufficient.

This company was fantastic. We recently had a nightmare experience with another tree company when a large branch fell from this tree and hit a car earlier during an snow storm. They were at our home for an hour and a quarter and felt justified somehow in charging us for NINE hours. (Not only was this unprofessional and greedy, but they lost the chance to get the larger job of taking down the whole 100' tall tree.) A neighbor recommended Mulheron. I called them. Within a few hours they were over for an estimate. They arrived on time. Did the job quickly. Cleaned up perfectly afterwards. The price was fair. No complications.

They are professional, trustworthy, clean in their work, and very prescient about what should be done on your property. And they're always happy to make you a deal if you have multiple jobs to bundle together.

My only suggestion would be for Mulheron to remind customer to move any cars in immediate area on day of appt- I forgot move husband's car so they rescheduled without add'l charge.
