Milton's Chandeliers

Milton was very polite, explain well the issue and even fixed an issue I was not aware of (my lamps were missing a piece). His shop even have parts if your vintage items are missing a few pieces (mine was missing one of the bottom screws, they have a very specific look)

I feel as though service like this doesn't exist anymore. Not only did Milton and his son Victor come to my house so I would not have to figure out how to travel with the chandelier, they were courteous, professional and kind. I will definitely be using this family business in the future for my lighting issues and recommend to anyone I can!

When a recommended lamp-repair shop told me that my antique lamp could not be repaired, at first I was upset. But then I heard of Angie's List, where I found Milton's Chandeliers listed. Nor only did Milton repair the lamp with no problem, having it ready by the promised day, both he and the other personnel there were as welcoming and friendly as possible, making a visit there a real pleasure. So, it was a double success: I found Angie's List, and I found Milton's!

I highly recommend Milton's Chandeliers to any homeowner, business or organization.  They are highly skilled, professional, capable, responsive, considerate and punctual. Milton is an experienced specialist, not a generalist.  Considering the fragility and value of crystal chandeliers, you want a specialist. 
We came home from a two week vacation to a burst pipe, flooded home, ceiling had collapsed into basement where I had 6 crystal chandeliers stored. These were from my grandmother's and mother's homes, and have sentimental value.  I called three chandelier cleaning companies and Milton was the only one who responded.  In fact, Milton arrived at my home within 24 hours and carefully removed all chandeliers, properly packing the small ones and hanging the large ones safely in the back of his van. 
The largest crystal chandelier had broken arms which Milton repaired using base fittings, an idea, I am not sure a novice would have thought of.  Each chandelier was taken apart, thoroughly cleaned and reassembled at his warehouse.  (I was able to visit the warehouse and take photos.) 
After storing the chandeliers for 5 months, Milton and his crew delivered and hung the chandeliers in my home.  He consulted with me as to where to hang them based on scale and decor.  The largest, he hung in our two story foyer using a very tall ladder. I mention this because some service providers do not have this ladder. In fact, years earlier, another electrician told me he would have to install scaffolding to hang a chandelier!
Throughout, Milton was accessible, knowledgeable, reliable and obviously very experienced. I will have him clean the chandeliers in the future and would hire him for any related work.  He is truly a specialist!

They repaired a Murano crystal chandelier that had been damaged moving over from Europe (a crystal cup, 2 branches and rewiring), as well as rewiring and steadying a torchere and repairing 2 table lamps. |They were very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. It's lovely to find this sort of know-how still alive and being passed on to the next generation.

When I brought both lamps in, he fixed the floor lamp on the spot at no cost. It took four days to get the table lamp totally redone and it works beautifully, providing two different levels of lighting, which is a big improvement. Milton was fast, efficient, inexpensive, and very thoughtful about the work. I would go back in a minute. Their workshop looks like Aladdin's Cave--quite wonderful.

Great service at the right price. Not only do they fix lamps, lanterns, and chandeliers, they sell them too!

Milton's did a quality job repairing and rewiring my antique floor lamp, at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.
