Used Call Carl Handyman service, which is part of Macon. Service was quick, staff was professional, and we were happy with the end result.

I called Macon after seeing them on Angie's List. I spoke with a "Carl" about the need to extend my addition about 6 feet. I described the work and the concrete footers that would be needed. I asked him for a ballpark estimate and he said about $7500. He said he would have his "small job manager", Desi call me back. When I didn't hear from him I called Carl again. He was very evasive so I asked who the manager or owner of the company was. He said he was. This time he said he would "try" to have Desi call me back. When I expressed surprise that the owner of the company couldn't get an employee to return a phone call he said well, it isn't the sort of thing we usually get involved in. I asked him directly, "Is someone really going to call me back or not?" He responded, "Let's assume not."

From the day they started with us until the finished product, we were very satisfied with their work. They always were at work during the specified times, answered all our questions, before, during and after the work was completed and were really good at following up with us after a certain section was done. As this was an extensive addition, we really liked the way they kept in touch with us and kept us informed about their progression along the way. The finished product was excellent and they are to be commended.
