He is about two thirds of the price of the dealership. Sometimes you have to wait for him to do the work, but he is terrific. I would highly recommend him and I will continue to use him.

We will keep going to him for as long as we live in MD.

I used to take my car to Kensington Simca as they are some of the most honest mechanics around. One time I took my car to the dealer for a regular maintenance appointment and left with a lift of over $1000 in potential repairs that and quot;had to be doneand quot;. I took my car to these guys and it turned out only one of the repairs on the list was needed, the rest were bogus. On a couple of other occasions I brought my car here with very minor issues and was not even charged a cent for the repair. Really trustworthy guys. I stopped going there because I started tweaking my car with aftermarket parts, and felt other shops were better handling those.

They are excellent. They are very knowledgeable and very reasonably priced. They are a delight to deal with. I would recommend them to everybody.

The quality of the work and the price are outstanding. The owner is very well informed, patient, congenial, and I trust him completely. He's also much more likely to say, and quot;Let's keep an eye on itand quot; than and quot;You need a new....and quot;
I think this place is a genuine find--but it's not for everyone. You might think of Kensington Simca informal. It's small, crowded, and the office hasn't been tidied up on 50 years. They start around ten in the morning and and may work until ten at night. Phone calls often go to voicemail, and they're not always returned immediately.. My car may or may not be ready on the exact day I'm told to expect it, but it's often because they're looking for the least expensive solution to my problem. They've also been an excellent source of referrals for body work and detailing. If you have the flexibility to deal with and quot;informal,and quot; you're likely to join me as a long-time customer.

THis place is fantastic. We always get good advice on what work is and isn't necessary to maintain our car and our safety. We are treated with respect and our money is, too.

Excellent service and price. I dropped off our Saab late on Thursday evening and picked it up after work on Friday. I have enjoyed the service at Kensington Simca for all of my vehicles for over 10 years.

They are very very honest! It's hard to find that in an auto mechanic. They don't charge you for things that aren't necessary. They also do small jobs. I had a turn signal issue in the past and they took care of it for me. They are very polite also. Because of their quality work, they are very busy. Sometimes it is hard to get in contact with them because of this. Once you set an appointment though, they are very good at keeping it and getting your car back in a timely matter. I can't say enough good things about them!

We have 4 cars in the family, so we had plenty of car-work during the years. Every single time it was done properly and either on a reasonable price or much lower price than we thought.

My favorite was when a dealership quoted for my daughter's car $2,000+ and Emery crossed out half of the list (as simple unnecessary) and fixed the other half for $300.

Kensington Simca Service does a fabulous job. It is a father and son outlet and they are fair, reliable, and do great work.

Did I mention that he generally works past 9 and people kept streaming in when we there there at 10 to get their cars. Still we got service in two days.

I have been a repeat customer of Kensington Simca Services for the last 15 years or so. It is always been a fully satisfactory experience. Excellent work quality, professionalism, very reasonable prices, etc, etc. I do not know of any other auto service company that stays open until midnight on a Saturday to complete repairs. Absolutely nothing negative to report. I wish I would know many other businesses like this one.
