It needed a color coordinated matting and frame to emphasize the detailed workmanship and its originality. Jason made the selections when I could not make up my mind. The result of his work was stunning! His creative color choices for the double mats and his frame choice brought the quilt to life.
Description of Work: Framed an Amish quilt--approximte 18 inches by 18 inches.

 + -1 moreWe went to Miller's to frame various pieces of art we brought back from a trip, including a small but expensive silk rug from Turkey. On more than one occasion when we went in for advice on framing, we were unable to get adequate explanations of the framing options and recommendations from the young, seemingly inexperienced people staffing the store. In the end, we made the decisions despite our own ignorance of e.g., how to frame the pieces to protect them for the long term. The pieces did not look quite as expected based on discussions, but the quality was fine.
