We remodeled a hall bathroom with JVF. JVF Construction is by far the best contractors we have ever worked with. They were always on time and worked hard all day. A couple of times worked ten hour days to meet my tight dead line. The level of craftsmen ship is superb. Jose actually fixed a couple of imperfections on his own accordbecause he did not like the why it looked ( we didn?t notice until he brought it to our attention). Our bathroom turned out better than we though. I highly recommend JVF !

JVF came highly recommended from a neighbor and they exceeded my already-high expectations. It was the easiest renovation I have ever had. The project manager was on-sight for most of the reno, and he made sure the work got done well and on time. The workmanship was excellent and JVF was very responsive to any modifcations I requested. After completing a magnificent renovation of our master bath a few years ago, we invited JVF Construction back this spring to renovate our guest bathroom. As usual, Jose and his team were prompt, clean, friendly and flexible in completing this project. They are professional and consummate craftsmen. During the project, they discovered a leaking drain pipe in our crawl space that was not related to the bathroom and they were quick to help us remedy problem. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the results of both projects and would not hesitate to call upon them again!

JVF Construction just finished a remodel of our main bathroom, and they did a beautiful job! The room is very small and doubles as our master bath as well as the bathroom people use when we have friends and family over, so we wanted it finally to be both practical and beautiful, and as a result of their work, it is exactly that. We highly recommend JVF Construction, and our reasons follow. Jose Flores and his team were a pleasure to work with from start to finish â on time, professional, and dedicated to making things perfect, not only on the surface but also with all the plumbing, structural support, etc. In addition to dealing with 70-year-old plaster walls, uneven floor, rotted floor supports, and ancient plumbing (which JVF replaced completely), some of our â asksâ were more technically difficult than the usual. As an example, we wanted the floor tiles laid diagonally, which requires a lot more cutting and fitting and attention to detail, but the tilers did it perfectly, and it makes such a difference! From the very beginning, Mr. Flores listened to our ideas and plans, gave expert advice on how to address problem areas, and explained everything that would need to be done to accomplish what we wanted. His attitude (which was also reflected by each of his workers) was â Itâ s not about whatâ s easy for us, itâ s about what you want.â At times, Mr. Flores and/or his workers came early and stayed late to be sure it was all finished on time. On occasion in the past, weâ ve had contractors â findâ extra things that needed fixing and/or who charged more than the agreed-upon contract to complete the work. In contrast, Mr. Flores did a very thorough and thoughtful inspection to begin with, made sure he understood exactly what we wanted done, and there were no hidden costs. Bottom line: We are so pleased with the work done by Mr. Floresâ company that the next time we have a project, we intend to hire them again without bothering to ask for estimates from others.

JVF Construction demonstrated excellent professionalism starting from the bidding for our bathroom project until the very end of the works. The owner supported and advised us throughout the project and we did numerous small changes both to avoid mistakes and to make the bathroom function better. He was always very courteous and resourceful, and easy to communicate with. The construction crew was friendly, punctual, fast and professional. As an example the crew laid out floor covers in the morning and in the evening took the covers out and vacuum cleaned the floors. It was like an end cleaning, but happened every day! Very much appreciated as we did not move out during the construction. The quality and attention to detail was great. I can highly recommend JVF Construction, we couldnâ  t be happier for the bathroom remodel they delivered. And we are talking with experience, as we have earlier remodeled 3 other bathrooms and the kitchen in the current house with other contractors.

We are so thankful to have worked with JVF. The JVF team was courteous, respectful, and focused on upgrading our bathroom to our exact detail. Throughout the project, they communicated clearly on progress, completing our bathroom on time and with the highest quality. After a broken sewage pipe in our driveway meant we needed to re-do our basement bathroom, we knew the only company we would trust with it - was JVF. Jose and his team wowed us last year with a total renovation of our main floor bathroom. We were thrilled to be able to get on the JVF schedule - and that they would also tackle the mess a previous contractor left in our laundry room. Because of the sewage pipe break - we needed to do a full gut and renovation of our basement bathroom. This included breaking the foundation to re-lay drainage pipes, leveling the floor, replacing walls, as well as the usual bathroom renovation tasks. We are thrilled with the outcome - in the bathroom - and in the re-purposed laundry room (now an office and storage space) Jose and his team did an amazing job fixing the poor craftsmanship and issues from our other contractor - and exceeded our expectations in the basement bathroom. The created a gorgeous spa-like bathroom - and found space we didn't realize we had to create a laundry space - freeing up the other room for a much needed office! His team kept us informed during every step of the project, consulted with us on decision-making, troubleshooting issues (and in a 100 year old house, there are always unexpected issues!) The level of attention to detail, craftsmanship, and creative thinking to resolve "old house" issues make JVF our go-to for any construction project. This was our second project with JVF, and frankly - we couldn't be happier with the outcome! We already recommend Jose and his team to our friends and neighbors - and after their amazing fix in our dysfunctional laundry room - there is no way we will tackle a house renovation without them in the future! Joes and his team did a great job on our bathroom. They had a real eye for detail and were not happy until the job was completed to a superb standard. Jose was flexible installing the features we chose checking in with us to make sure we got the results we were looking for. They were punctual and worked really hard to stay on schedule.

JVF Construction was hired to renovate our master bathroom. Before hiring JVF we interviewed Jose at our home. First thing my husband and I noticed was how respectful he was. We were very impressed with his construction knowledge and past performances. Jose invited us to see his home witch he built from the ground up. When we arrived at his home we met his five children and beautiful wife. Joseâ s home was absolutely stunning. My husband and I knew we had found our contractor as soon as we walked in. Jose used big air scrubbers and negative air pressure to contain the construction dust since I have bad allergies. We had discussed this and JVF were true to their word. I didnâ t have any problems during their stay at our home. Jose also gave us a list of his vendors so that we could get his contractor discount on all the materials we had to purchase, along with weblinks to discount coupons. We saved over $500 because of his generosity. Iâ m sure other contractors pocket these mark ups. Once the job started Juan (lead man), Jose (their apprentice), were on site every day. Through the entire project Jose was present every day as well. They were like clockwork knocking on the front door at 8 am as we agreed. Jose would take the time at the end of the day and update their progress and what they had scheduled for the next day. There were a couple of unforeseen problems, I was impressed on how fast Jose came up with a solution. He explained why, how, and the solution in detail. Our project was finished ahead of schedule and under our budget. The results were far beyond our expectations! Just like he states on his website â turning dreams into realityâ . He sure did! I hire Jose and his crew to finish our basement, build a bar, bathroom, lighting, and install laminate flooring earlier this year. Iâ m not much for leaving reviews, but I read them before hiring someone. This is my first review ever. When I contracted him his record was perfect. He emailed me and asked if I would be honest and share my experience with him and his crew because of a bad review he had received on HomeAdvisor.com. After reading that review. I knew I had to do him justice. I canâ t speak for the bad review but that wasnâ t who showed up at my house. Jose is a very talented young man that is gifted at what he does. His crew worked hard and only said hello and good bye. Jose on the other hand loves to talk. He has a great personality. Hard working men with good chemistry. I heard them laughing while working. Always willing to go above and beyond for my wife and I. He really wasnâ t happy until he saw us smile.

JVF Construction completed a full remodel of a house I just recently purchased. The basement looked like it had been untouched for years and had some mold while the bathroom was not in use. Jose worked with me on planning the scope of the work to my liking. Jose was always ready to listen and make suggestions to better the project. He was always responsive to calls and messages. When the employees were doing work on the property, they were beyond careful when it came to dirt and noise. Jose would show me updates as the project unfolded and ask my opinion on the work if I wanted to change anything as things were moving along. It was quite pleasant having a contractor who was always open to changes and making sure that I received my dream project. When everything was completed, we did a final walk through and everything was beyond what I had anticipated. The level of detail and craftsmanship was truly remarkable. My husband and I hired JVF Construction to renovate 2 bathrooms. At first, we were not too happy because we had to wait 4 weeks before we could begin construction. Let me tell you it was worth the wait! Jose and his crew are complete professionals. They are hardworking, humble, and respectful men. They cleaned daily often leaving the work area cleaner than it originally was. We were involved in all the decision making. Jose made sure we completely understood everything and always had positive input. He guided us through the entire process and was very patient. Without a doubt Jose is a Master at his trade. The level of detail is superb. Iâ m so happy with our new bathrooms. JVF is our go to contractor from now on. I recommend JVF on the highest level possible!

Jose and his team at JVF were a pleasure to work with through the whole bathroom remodel. JVF did an amazing job with our bathroom, bringing the bathroom down to the studs and converting our bathroom tub to a beautiful shower. Jose was a huge part of the planning process in how we could maximize the space of our bathroom, and presenting all of the options of how we could create our new bathroom. Jose & his team are the best contractors I have ever worked with. They were very attentive to the particulars I wanted & went back to redo work if I wasnâ t satisfied even just the slightest. An example would be I wanted my shower head moved over & sink lifted by 2/3 inches, there was never a complaint, always a sure we can! Jose was very patient with us. His team always cleaned up after each day, I didnâ t need to go behind them to do anything. Any concerns or questions I had during the process was promptly addressed & the finished product was superb. I am extremely satisfied & overjoyed with my new bathroom remodel.

JVF Construction updated our master bath. The team who did my job cannot be the same as the ones that got great reviews. The project started great. The team was polite and covered furniture / flooring to protect it. They used HEPA filter fans to reduce dust. Unfortunately, almost everything that was installed had to be done twice. Some problems were due to honest mistakes and because itâ  s construction. However, some were due to a failure to measure and many were due to incompetence. When the owner, Jose Flores, was onsite, mistakes werenâ  t common and work was done efficiently. When he wasnâ  t present, little got done and even less was done correctly. Jose was very professional. He readily acknowledged issues and offered to redo most of them, but this added time and I lost faith that anything was being done correctly. The shower was built smaller than I requested, making installation of the enclosure very difficult and the door opening too small. One niche was framed below the top of the tub and had to be reframed. Rene didnâ  t tile the shower in the pattern we requested and tiled one niche very crooked. The vanity was installed with 3 of 4 leveling feet fully extended. Juan claimed this was because the floor was unlevel, but it was perfectly level. Electrical was done without measuring, so it had to be moved. The 3 recessed lights were different colors. Faucets were installed loose and crooked. Plumbing leaked and Juan argued that it was not leaking despite being shown pooling water. Juan threw construction waste in my toilet instead of the trash can. We never had a formal walk through, so I sent Jose an email with all issues and was assured all would be done well. I finally expressed my exasperation with the number and types of mistakes. I was concerned about what else was done wrong. Jose admitted the job had been a nightmare, but took exception when I stated that most of the mistakes were of his teamâ  s own making. Jose then transformed from someone I respected into a totally different person. He started hurling insults at me and my husband. The poorly tiled niche was retiled that day, but the job was done even worse. Rene didnâ  t retile the sides as I was told. Instead, he only retiled the back, leaving cut edges visible and numerous deep grooves and pits in the grout. Rene left without our approval of the job. I arrived home shortly after he left and texted Jose pictures. I asked him to send Rene back with the grout so I could fix it. Jose refused because Rene lied and said we approved the job after grouting. When Rene grouted previously, he left the grout behind. I believe Rene intentionally did a horrible job and stole the grout knowing I could do nothing without the grout. Jose and I exchanged texts and Jose went off the deep end when I told him his team lies to him. He told me that he would block my texts and he has done so. Since the job ended, we found that the team never fully patched the hole in the wall where the light fixture was initially. They patched a small part of a 4â  hole and left the rest open behind the mirror. We also found that the toilet was never installed correctly. After initial installation, I stated it was unstable and the bolt caps didnâ  t fit. That is a sign itâ  s installed incorrectly. Their solution was to cut the custom bolts so the caps fit and they caulked the base to stabilize it using two colors of caulk. We just paid a different plumber $300 to reinstall the toilet. He found the bolts were installed wrong and since JVF cut the custom bolts, they could not be used to install the toilet correctly. Further, you do not caulk the base of a toilet and anyone who installs toilets should know this. Even after all this, I believe Jose Flores knows what he is doing. His standards are excellent and he wants the job done correctly. The real issue is his crew and the fact that Jose won&#3...

We hired JVF Construction to remodel two bathrooms at the same time - not a simple task - but JVF did an amazing job on both. Their workmanship and attention to detail was the best, finishing the project on time and within budget. We hired JVF to do a complete bathroom renovation in our quirky, 100-year-old house. The JVF team did an amazing job - gutted to the studs and moved a wall to expand our tiny main bathroom. They did an amazing job - from the custom walk-in shower, beautiful tile work, re-wiring, plumbing, even moved the wall radiator, and updated our pipes! The JVF team took exceptional care with our old house - even made sure to clean up daily. They finished on time, no pricing surprises, and craftsmen level attention to detail! We are thrilled with our new bathroom. It is modern with a nod to the original character of the house, increases the functionality of the room - and is truly lovely! JVF completely remodeled our basement, including all new flooring, an all-new, large master bathroom with AMAZING tiling, master bedroom, walk-in closet, living area, and stairs. It's so nice my wife and I may just move down there! A couple of minor hurdles along the way, but in the end Jose more than made up for those. 10/10 would use him again.
