1. When I called I got an immediate answer and clear answers to my questions. 2. Rugs were picked up two days later by two very polite and efficient workers. 3. Rugs were returned two weeks later. 4. The rugs were expertly put back in our desired place.

They did a fabulous job removing the large and old pet stains and the odor -- rug looks and smells just as it did before the stains.

This was my first time shopping for Persian rugs. Mahmoud was extremely friendly and helpful. He showed me many rugs and gave me a little background and information on each of the ones I was interested in. He even showed me how they were made using a small loom as an example. I needed two rugs for a single room and he helped me locate two that complemented each other. When I'd narrowed my choices down to just two -- he brought them down to the floor for me so that I could see the colors from both directions of the nap. I was very pleased with their selection, knowledge, friendliness, and willing to accommodate. I will definitely go to them for my next rug purchase.

Called 3 places, Jahann and Sons had the highest price ($180), but it came out comparable because they give a 20% discount if you drop the rug off yourself. I choose them because I liked their method. They told me that they would soak the rug and handwash with mild detergent. Other companies I called were using deodorizers and/or machine brushes. Was washing the rug because it had odor from pet urine (though no stains b/c of the dark color of the rug). They guarantee that the odor comes out or they will rewash the rug. Rug looked very nice. Colors didn't run as I feared, but there were a few spots that were kind of muddy. However, overall it looked better than before. Was told that they washed it twice. Did a sniff test and noticed that some areas still had odor, while others did not. It was better than before so didn't say anything and I took it home. Put the rug out and it definitely does not have the odor of before, but if I get close to the rug, I can smell a trace of odor. I considered calling them to ask them to honor the guarantee, but it's a hassle for me to get the rug there. Interested in trying someone else next time, but overall a decent experience here. One negative -- they said they would call me when the rug was ready, probably in a week to 10 days. However, no one ever called me. A month later I realized that I still hadn't gotten a call, so I called them and was told that the rug had been ready.

Contacted them by phone for estimate and then dropped rugs off the same day. Took 2 weeks as promised to do the work. Carpet repair is great, and washing left the rugs looking brand new.
