Fan Man is simply the best! Our Casablanca stopped working (14 ft. ceiling) and the repair was smooth as silk at a very reasonable charge. They saved us from replacing it, as the new ones are made cheaply "in China." Don't hesitate to call them for any fan needs!!

You aren't going to find someone more knowledgeable, honest, and hard working than Vin. Along with Piers, he installed 5 ceiling fans in my house and a lighting fixture. The latter he expertly lined wiring and placed the lighting fixture perfectly. Additionally, he went above and beyond by coordinating his work with a local painting and drywall contractor to time his work perfectly. The Fan Man rescued my Casablanca ceiling fan, which had stopped spinning even though the motor was humming. It had a broken flywheel, which he replaced. Piers knows a lot about Casablanca fans and was telling me all kinds of things about my old retired model. And the repair was only $175 - a lot less than trying to replace such an expensive fan. Vic was really knowledgeable and easily installed both fans without a problem. When the wholesaler hadn't delivered the correct length of downrod, he happened to have the correct one and was so nice to install that one with the fan. When I had issues with my fan control a year later, he helped me troubleshoot the problem. I would highly recommend the Fan Man's work.

Everything went very smoothly. I had some communications with Vic before making an appointment and he was helpful in directing me first to a self-fix first. When that didn't work out, I made an appointment with Vic. I really appreciate his availability on weekends. He fixed the fan problem and installed the other fan without any problems. It was clear he was very experienced and knew what he was talking about.

The entire experience went very well. The technician introduced himself, covered shoes in protective booties, and went straight to work. Rather than simply re-route wires between the old connectors and new connectors, he re-wired the fan from scratch. The fan was re-assembled and worked like knew. I had some follow-up questions later on proper use of the wall control and the technician was responsive and patient in working me through the issue.

Before calling Fan Man, I made the mistake of asking handyman to fix
(twice) and was told that the fans needed to be replaced.  Piers came in
and reset as needed and reconnected one that had been disconnected.  
Piers is personable, professional, and prompt.

I bought a house that had six Casablanca fans in it.  Three of the fans were not working properly.  Two others had missing remote controls.  They contacted me by phone within 24hrs of my initial query.  They helped me over the phone to diagnose all the fans and determine which ones were not working properly.  As it turns out, two of the three fans that I thought were not working actually were.  They performed this service free of charge and saved me hundreds of dollars.  Once we determined which fans needed repair, I texted them pictures and model numbers so they could make sure they had all the required parts before they came out.  Once the parts arrived they came out and performed all the repairs quickly and professionally.  The cost of $400 included all the parts and labor.  I am extremely happy with their service and would not hesitate to call them again.  This is a great small company with great customer service so if you need ceiling fan repair in the Washington DC area, give them a call.  You won't be disappointed.
