Within a week, I had them back and they put them back up for me. Everything was good, they were cleaned and pleated properly. They price has increased through.

It was a reasonable price, it wasn't unreasonable. They will not move furniture or anything to pick up carpets, another provider does do that, which is a local cleaner. They will move stuff. But this is something I could do myself; I could roll up the carpet and give it to them. I don't send my orientals there, I send those to another service provider. I give them a C because they don't move the furniture and pick up the rugs. And, they won't give me a time when they will come to get the carpet. They won't say morning or afternoon, they just say, sometime during the day. They've been around for 100 years. They've been around a long time. I wouldn't send my orientals there but other things I would. They are fine. I called them today, they said they'd be here tomorrow. They responded, that was fine. They've done the carpets every year for me, three years. So yes, I would use them. I know them and know that they'll come, get them and bring them back. I don't think they wash because that would shrink them. They probably use some dry cleaning stuff on them.

I took in four shirts to be cleaned and returned about 10 days later for pick-up. They couldn't find them. They kept looking for a few more weeks but were never able to locate them. I eventually was compensated $200 for the loss, which was an acceptable outcome. But I hated losing those shirts, two of which were my favorites and brand new. I got the impression that the service is disorganized and the Safeway manager told me they've had continual problems with Bergmann's. This was the only time I used them and I won't return despite their competitive prices.

It seemed a weird service from the beginning since they were putting five shirts per bag, and they gave me five different receipts. When I went to pick them up, only 10 shirts were ready. I had to go back twice to get all the shirts. It turns out they misspelled my name multiple times. In addition, they stained 6 of my 22 shirts, I think because of their iron press. The Safeway manager was nice, they had the late shirts done for free (as their sign guarantees). However, they had me sign a letter of no liability to Safeway before they paid me an additional $45 (after wasting at least two hours arguing with them and waiting around). The shirts were fixed, except two, but I decided not to take them back to get them fixed. Overall, a very unprofessional service. The Safeway manager even acknowledged that they had trouble with this Bergmann company.
