This is first class family owned business which provides superior service and rentals at the best prices available.  This company treated us like family and I will continue to use them and recommend them for any party that we have in the future.  Everything from the first call, to the first meeting, to the set-up, to the take down and everything in between was perfect.  The best part is you get all of this at the best possible prices when compared to the larger rental companies.  I would highly recommend this company.

This was the easiest part of putting on my own wedding. Approximately two months prior I went into the showroom and sat down with a planner. Within one hour everything I could have needed was discussed and ordered. There was no pressure to get what I didn't need and they were understanding of what I did need and offered suggestions.
About two weeks prior to the event I had some changes, to include choosing to have them build my floor. They easily accepted these changes with no problem. Being that my event was the day after Thanksgiving, they came two days early to set up. They were on time, professional, courteous and hard working. When they realized the standard floor wouldn't work over a small hump in the yard, they physically made a new floor so that it would work and be flat. They even added a covering for the floor.
Everything that I rented was clean, beautiful and in working condition. The glassware was shiny and some pieces were even brand new. The heaters worked much better than expected and I was shown how to use them. They called me prior to their arriving for the delivery and again when they were on their way back to pick up their equipment.
I was very happy with everything about this company and our wedding was beautiful, in part, because of them. They truly made it "A GRAND EVENT."

The rental items were order over the phone. Before placing the order, I scanned the web site in order to have a good view of what might be available. I placed the order over the phone and promptly received an invoice with the items enumerated as well as the cost. I arranged to have the items picked up at the Nicholson Court office, and everything was ready for the pickup. Likewise, I returned everything to the same office.

When first contacted, the company was responsive, providing an estimate and recommendations quickly. They were also responsive when tables and table skirting needed to be added four days before the event. However, Micheal was not available in the days leading up to the event. When the staff was contacted to support a walkthru of the event four days prior, they initially could not even find the contract and had no record of the event. They eventually did find the contract but declined to particiapte in the the walk through. This should have been a warning to the event coordinator and myself. On the day of the event, the delivery team showed up at the security gate on time. THere were special passes to get them in the gate. Because they had not come to the walk through, they did not have these ahead of time. The staff was again contacted to arrainge pick up but again declined. Security would not let them in and they did NOT attempt to contact the coordinator or myself for a quick resolution. The team subsequent executed decisions that caused them to arrive 2 hours late. The ceremony was scheduled to start at 1:00 pm with the contract stating set up was to be complete aby 12:00pm. They did not start set up until approx 12:30. No other supporting company for the event (Caterer, Photographer, chair provider, ect) had this problem. Becasue of the delays, the skirting for the staging was not installed preventing the bunting from also being installed. This caused the entire stage to look horrific and greatly detract from the event. Because of the delays, only one podium was used and again, the bunding that was planned to cover the podiums poor quality was not installed due to time constraints. Also, only one podim was used, again because of time delays. The company had been forthright about the quality of the podiums. The sound system performed well but the microphone did not fit into the goose neck. The qualify of the stage and stairs was adequate. The stairs were initially installed in the wrong place and with the safety rails even though the location and not to use the rails was specified. The delays caused the entire ceremony to be rushed with parts being skipped in order to make the tear down and haul away time limits at the museum. They did set up quickly and left no debris. The museum had many concerns with using Grand Event due to the nature of the surrounding displays. The safely set up and tore down without damaging anything, a big plus.
