They were excellent. Their sales engagement was excellent, as well as the quality of the awning itself. The installation crew was perfect and I enjoyed working with them. They had a range of quality awning options to fit any budget. I went with the mid range because it fit with the features I was looking for. It is a good quality product, and they were extremely well organized and intelligent.

I liked everything. They did a super job plus I got a discount. The motor was a free add in because during the time that I got it, they had a promotion going on.

It was a very simple process and went off without a hitch. We have a 16' motorized awning that protects our deck from the sun. SunAir was professional, responsive and timely.

We are pleased with the finished product, high quality, professional installation, and overall and quot;look and feeland quot; of the awning. The downside is that this company has gone through some managment changes, the son replaced the father as president and some of the employees (especially the Silver Fox, you will know him if you see him) seemed to lack a bit of professionalism. We had the silver fox out to do the measurements, select the fabrics and so on. On the scheduled installation date, the crew informed us that the silver fox had measured wrong and they couldn't install it. Keep in mind each awning is custom built to your specifications. Hmm, not too happy with that. Next the silver fox came out again and basically told us the crew didn't know what they were talking about and then disappeard for a week or so. We called the company and complained, actually several calls as the first ones weren't returned, and eventually the president came out, he took photos and redid the measurements. Because of a bump out on our townhouse, the
installation was a little more complicated and he suggested that a quick fix would be to first install a mounting board and then attach the awning to that. I wasn't thrilled, but was concerned about them cutting or messing with the already finished custom awning, so I agreed. Then the day came to install, and the installers said that wouldn't work. The operations manager showed up and he finally figured out a way to install it, that didn't use the special board I had to wait on. At two different times we had Sunair employees arguing on our deck about how to install the awning. Not a warm and fuzzy situation. Oh well, that is behind us and we absolutely love the product. I referred a woman at work and she ordered from them. Unfortunately her experience, especially with the silver fox, was about the same as mine. When they came to install her awning, they found out she had aluminum siding but the order said vinyl and that crew was not certified to work on it. The main point here is although they sell a great product, BUT you have to manage the ordering and installation process. Ask lots of questions and don't let the silver fox intimidate you with his years of experience. Double check everything and ask questions if you don't understand something. Don't order unless you are completely comfortable.

THE WORK DONE BY THE SUNAIR COMPANY WAS OVERALL VERY GOOD. THEIR SHOW ROOM WAS FAR AWAY FROM WHERE WE LIVE, BUT IT WAS VERY NICE, AND WE WERE TREATED KINDLY BY THE EMPLOYEES. THE WORKERS WHO INSTALLED THE AWNING, THOUGH, HAD TROUBLE SPEAKING ENGLISH, AND THERE WERE SOME COMMUNICATION ISSUES AT FIRST. WE ALSO HAD TROUBLE COMMUNICATING WITH THE COMPANY BY PHONE. OTHER THAN THAT, WE WERE HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE.
