propane sales
 + -1 moreBeen using them since 2005. They are non responsive, I have called them 3 times now for the prebuy program to buy gas at a certain price at the beginning of the year. The invoicing system is terrible because it doesn't give you a balance on your account. They don't offer the prebuy so you have to call them. They never ante up at the end of year in terms of what you purchased and what you agreed to buy. I called and asked to speak with accounting for a copy of detailed billing 2 times now and was told they would get it to me and it has been over 2 weeks and still have not gotten it.
Description of Work: Filled our propane tank.

 + -1 moreOverall, my experience with National Valley Gases was horrible.
Description of Work: This company was recommended to install a propane tank for my new generator. My first contact with the sales person was 8/14/12 when he told me he would provide me an estimate the next day. after I didn't hear from him 4 days later I contacted him. His comment to me was "I am sorry I forgot about you but I will email the estimate to you today." We exchanged several more emails before he finally emailed me an estimate on 8/28/12. By then my generator had been installed for almost 2 weeks and I was waiting for the tank to be installed to get the generator running. On 9/5/12 one of the employees of the company met me and contractor co-worker at my house to determine where the tank should be installed. The rep for the company assured us that the job was a normal job that could be done without any problems. Two days later i get another email from the sales person informing me that my job had special requirements which they could not fulfill but they could get someone to do it for an additional $5,000. I tried to get him to explain why the extra $5,000 but he kept blowing me off. After several unanswered emails I called the owner of the generator company that referred this company. The owner of the generator company who usually hires this propane company for generator installations was not able to get a response either. Finally on 9/28/12 i get an email from the sales person at Valley National Gases telling me that they were not able to do my job. I immediately contacted the generator get another propane company to install a tank for me. Not only was the estimate $3,885.00 less than the estimate from Valley National Gas but my tank has been installed and my generator is up and running.
