Hercules Fence Company 8580 Mission Rd

I shopped around and tried to get quotes from about 5 different fencing companies. Robert Steckert at Hercules was responsive and supplied a quote promptly after my request. He was very responsive in discussing the options and remained responsive to my questions about scheduling after the contract was signed. The contract was for installation between 15 and 20 business days after the deposit was paid. Installation happened on the 16th day. The workman that were sent were very professional, arrived promptly just a few minutes after 9 a.m., and discussed what they would be doing prior to starting. During the job they consulted with me and asked my permission on any deviations. My concrete driveway had them extend the gate from the originally planned 12 feet to 14 so they didn't need to break the concrete to drive the post into the ground. The old gate had been only 10 feet and I found it a little narrow for maneuvering my car I would recommend being present during the installation. Eric, the production manager also communicated well over the timing and options. My fence is on a slight grade and they had to put a step in the gate so the one side would open fully when swinging out against the grade. The quality of the materials seems great. It is a much heavier gauge than the fence that I had replaced and the posts seem a little bigger and heavier as well. The gate hinges and latch all appear heavy duty, more commercial grade than the light weight residential I had before. Due to the slope the job ended up being done over two days, but they strung chain link over the gate entry during the night to keep anyone out while the gate was constructed. Overall I'm very happy with the quality of the work, they provided exactly what was contracted at a price well below anyone else that I contacted.
