I was initially frustrated that it took longer than expected to get the materials. They worked with me to seek others but we decided to wait for the original ones to arrive. I am glad we did. They look beautiful. The team worked extremely hard and were very professional. They paid incredible attention to detail and the permeable walkway they built along the driveway and to the house is beautiful. I will hire them again for another project for sure.

First Impressions Hardscape did a great job rebuilding our driveway with permeable pavers. Everyone from the sales rep to the installers responded quickly to our questions and provided excellent service. First Impression Hardscapes did an incredible job installing pavers for a large project at our home. They replaced our driveway, front walkway and porch, and backyard patio and walkway. They also installed a stone fire pit and outdoor lighting. We are very pleased with the craftmanship and quality of the work as everything turned out beautifully. In addition, the customer service was outstanding. Christopher did a great job designing the plans and Jose made sure the project was completed correctly and on time. They both are very accessible, patient, and answer questions and respond to requests immediately. I highly recommend them.

From the beginning of this process to the end, this company was excellent! Dustin arrived, as scheduled. He followed up with me with a design, an estimate, and documentation for me to submit to my HOA. Upon HOA approval, the company scheduled my project. The project manager and the staff were PERFECT! They told me that the job would take two days and it did. On the morning of the third day, the power washers arrived early, at 8 a.m., and power washed the house. The workers worked well together, did a very professional job, and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend this company.

It took a bit for me to nail down what I wanted, as there was no existing driveway on my property, and I appreciated their patience and support. They kept in touch with me throughout the project and even made a last minute change that I had requested. Great design and the install team was thorough down to sweeping off the hardscape after all the stone was installed. Dustin was a great PM.

Overall the work was very good. Christopher Morgado came out and gave us an estimate right then. He was very personable and treated us with respect (some other contractors were very condescending especially when talking to me, a woman). He came up with a design and stopped by several times showing us different paver samples. The work started very quickly. They worked hard, even in the oppressive heat. They explained all the issues when any problems arose (we did have a few unforeseen issues but they had answers and resolved everything very well). The work is beautiful and very sturdy. I would recommend them, and if we needed additional work done I would hire them again.

Once we selected the pavers and made the initial down payment, the project was scheduled in a week. We love the patio and First Impressions did an excellent job on the project and it was completed in two days! The workers were very efficient and fast! I had my driveway replaced with pavers. The actual work crew was great and efficient, but the management is far from it. A small gravel area and drain were left unfinished and I was promised they would come back soon to finish that. After multiple requests I foolishly paid the remainder of my balance. It has now been more than 8 months, and the unfinished area is overgrown and looks terrible. I have contacted them multiple times and either receive no answer or am told they will let me know when a crew is in my area. In addition to the unfinished area and drain, there is also a small part of the driveway that has sunk and cracked. They have not given any indication when they will repair that. My DC water rebate for the new pavers was also delayed by about four months because project manager forgot to submit the final paperwork (even though that was the very reason I was told it was critical for me to pay off my balance). Use these guys with caution... and if you do, do NOT use Mark H. as your project manager and do NOT pay your final balance until all the work is completed!

This is something new to us because we work with the best professionals and to get to the bottom of this we have our project designer explaining his side also. Your satisfaction is extremely important to us. Here is Mark HXXXXXX look of the facts in his own words: "I met Mr. MXXXXXXX in July 2018, making him aware of the RiverSmart rebate program that allowed him to receive $4,300.00 in rebates/savings, the project also included new fence, retaining walls,steps and pet area. I performed all requirements for the program for no additional charge, providing CAD drawings with renderings, during our construction I coordinated with deck contractor to ensure integrity of all projects combined, was available to make requested addendums. The small gravel area and drain Mr. MXXXXXXX is referring to could not be completed due to other deck contractor not finished work. the rebate program requires payment in full ($0 balance) to contractor. We waited for several months until February 2019 when we deducted $600 +$1,181.50 (total remaining balance $1,781.50) in order to receive payment for work rendered, we even reduced the cost of addendum that they were agreed upon to do so. We bent the program rules a bit in order for Mr. MXXXXXXX to receive his $4,300.00 rebate. Mr. MXXXXXXX did not pay the $1,181.50, so we never returned to install the gravel + drain box." Excellent quality work. It was a big job and it took two days longer than they estimated, but this was fine. They were very hard working and cleaned everything up each night. I can't say enough good things about them, and I love our new front walk and patio.
