About us
Since 1994 Concrete Slab Jacking has been a family run business specializing in raising and leveling concrete. Our mission is to provide you with the best experience and outstanding customer service. Our first class reputation and continued business has been acquired by our dependable performance and distinguished customer service. We believe the best customer service can only be provided if you are passionate in what you do. Our employees understand and practice our values on the jobsite. Andrews Equipment Company which is also operated by the same family owners, provides concrete pumping service during new construction and renovation. Over the past 35 years we have pumped millions of yards of concrete from residential homes to high rise buildings and even underwater tunnels. This gives us the advantage of seeing and knowing the complete process of how your concrete was originally poured. With this combined knowledge we can determine why your concrete problems have started and the most effective way to repair and correct them.

The 12'x16' concrete patio behind our house had sunk approximately 4-5" over the years. It cracked in the center and half of it was sloping towards the house. I had big plans to destroy it myself and replace it with pavers. Well, when I realized that a 12’x16’x3” concrete patio weighs many tons I changed my mind. Also, when I took a metal detector to it I saw there was some rebar to deal with as well which solidified my decision to not break it up. The breaking up part wasn’t the problem, it was the hauling away part that I wasn’t up to.
Anyway, I reached out to Concrete Slabjacking and Jon paid me a quick visit to assess the situation. He looked over everything and was confident he could lift the slab back in place. He immediately quoted me $1,300 and I accepted as that seemed fair from what I’d read about potential costs. Then as he was leaving he noticed that our front sidewalk had sunk a bit. He mentioned that he should be able to lift that back in place as well for no extra cost.
Jon and his partner (can’t remember his name) came by a week or so later and got the job done in about an hour. All in all I am very satisfied with the job. The slab was raised and I now have a nearly level patio! I say nearly as it isn’t perfect, but I didn’t expect it to be perfect. The slab is very old. They use a poly-foam substance instead of mud and it worked very well. Jon is a very nice guy and it was a pleasure doing business with him.
From what I understand residential slab jacking is a side business for Jon and his company. They mostly handle major commercial concrete jobs so scheduling a residential job can sometimes be a challenge. But if you’re not in a hurry to get a job like this done I highly recommend Concrete Slabjacking. Great experience.
Jonathan and one other employee arrived right on time and did an outstanding job. They were prompt; courteous and professional. They were able to raise the sunken sections of sidewalk by at least 1 1/4 inches and completely eliminate the trip hazard. In addition they caulked the space between the sections to help eliminate water penetration. The new material, which is a polystyrene substance, (similar to the foam that you can buy in a can for insulating/filling small spaces, only denser), is amazing. This new type of material won't wash away and is terrific alternative to replacing the entire sidewalk. Not only does it avoid all the mess involved with replacing the walk, it avoided the possible damage caused by a heavy concrete truck and it saved us $2000. (The original estimate to remove; fill and replace the sections that had sunk was $2500). II highly recommend this company and their product/service.
