Great prices for labor and job got done very professionally. Didn't try to sell additional services or recommend higher priced repair. Service was quick and appointment also was available when needed. Will definitely check again for any further maintenance.

They have been excellent. Their prices are good and they get you right in for oil changes. I needed a battery done during a certain part of the day and they worked with me. I would highly recommend them and will continue to use them.

Mr. Kim was kind enough to give me the prioritized list of issues to address. My family can't really do without any of our vehicles, so I elected to just fix the safety issue to give me time to look for a new car. He was able to fix the wheel in a remarkably short time. I'll be bringing my other vehicles here from now on.

Was told it could one of two problems. Checked cheaper repair first before more costly. Recommend's ideal services, but does tell you when a repair is not needed.

Service was better than expected.  They took the time to do more than I asked to make sure the money I paid for the requested repairs wouldn't lead to further complications I'd have to pay for later.

Very Very Good

They changed the oil and did the lube, ordered the new radiator and clutch. The new radiator, clutch and coolant was installed and the vehicle was ready, as promised , the next day. I take all my vehicles to them and recommend them to friends. They are reasonably priced and can be trusted.

They diagnosed the problem and replaced the ignition coil.

It all started when I had an old Cadillac that I was in love with and I needed a mechanic I could trust and wouldn't just band aid it. He was brutally honest and told me I need to get another car, he said I could keep taking your money but I am going to fix something then something else will break. The car is not worth it, its to old and he was right. He could have kept just fixing my problems and having me keep coming back but he was totally honest with me and for that he will have my business for the duration. Also the work is top notch, he fixes everything he can and he if is not sure of something he tells us. Everyone knows how hard it is to find a good mechanic that will not cheat you and he is it!!

Extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous service. After repair, air conditioner once again pumped out refreshingly cold air. No wait time when when dropping off or picking up vehicle. Interior of car was vacuumed prior to picking it up from the shop. A very nice value added service, which was much appreciated.

This is the third time I used Columbia Family Auto Care for the two cars I own and each time, the service has been great. This last time I was having problems with my brakes and even though I didn't have a service appointment, Mr. Young said he would take a look and see what he could find out. Within about 2 hours, Mr. Young called to inform me what the problem was with my brakes. He gave me a number of different options to repair the brakes that could save me money. Even though I asked him for his opinion on several options, it never felt like he was trying to "upsell" me on anything. My car was repaired the following day since he had to order parts that he didn't have in stock. At the time I came in to pay the bill, he indicated that the dealer had misquoted the price of the calipers to him which resulted in the repair costing less than he originally quoted me. Its nice and refreshing to find someone who is an honest and trustworthy business owner. I plan on using them in the future.

I had found Columbia Family Auto via Angie's List a few years ago and was pleased with their service.  I had no reservations about going back to them recently for two different jobs.  The first visit was to replace front and rear brakes and the second visit was to replace the A/C compressor assembly.
Young was professional, very quick to let me know what was wrong with my car and give not only pricing with options but recommendations as well.   Young gave sound advice for preventive maintenance (reiterated a couple times that the recommendations were if I could afford them at the time) so I strongly feel he had my best interests in mind and did not have $$ in his pocket as his sole purpose for the recommendations.
Both jobs were done quickly and when he said they would be done.   I checked with Honda to get pricing on the A/C compressor assembly and replacement tensioner assembly and belt and Columbia Family's pricing, while not incredibly cheaper (I wouldn't expect it to be) but it was a couple or few hundred less than Honda,   He didn't charge for replacing the the tensioner assembly so that was a plus for me.  Oh, and he gave me a discount for being an Angie's List member without me having to ask about it - both times. 
In summary, I like the way Young treats his customers with professionalism and with his client's best interest in mind.  He is trustworthy and I will, without hesitation go back to him again.

My son's 1998 Honda CRV was slow stopping. We took the back roads to Columbia Family Auto Care, ready to apply the parking brake if necessary in order to stop on time. Based on our past experience with old cars, we were expecting to need a full brake job. Mr. Young replaced only the part that had rusted out, explaining that if he had replaced other parts that were also going bad, the job would have cost more than the value of the car. He did caution us that it was hard to say how long the remaining rusty parts would last. It is refreshing that he leaves the decision on how much should be repaired to the customer.

This was the first time I used Columbia Family Auto Care. Everything went as I had hoped. I was informed of the reason for the noise in the brakes. It was not because they needed to be replaced. I was happy to pay for the inspection, because it saved me about $700 (a less honest shop might have lied about it). Kim found the Subaru advisory bulletin that instructs mechanics how to eliminate the cold-weather fuel leak and solved that problem for me. He installed the taillight assembly that I had purchased. He also shuttled me to and from the shop because my wife, who had just gotten home from the hospital after knee replacement surgery, couldn't drive me to or pick me up from the shop. Competent, honest, fast, free shuttle service, and reasonable prices. What more could anyone ask?

I called the day after Christmas and left a message.  He called back on Monday and we took the car in for an estimate.  He called Tuesday morning with the estimate and with our okay he performed the work and we picked the car up Tuesday.  Brakes are quiet and working great!

They are very fast. They were able to change my battery while I was on my lunch break and I was able to make it to my second second job on time. I never have to wait hours on end. Highly recommended.
