Eastern Housing sold me this home originally in 9/07 and they failed to disclose many major issues. I've been trying to resolve this issue for over a year with no success at all. I think Gilbert Mobley, Sr., is the most dishonest, greedy, unscrupulous person I've ever met. I am permanently disabled with a severe back injury and have been since 2003 and in chronic pain and I had wanted to sell this place for over a year so I could move someplace more suitable. But, I can't sell with the decks the way they are. And Mr. Mobley of Eastern Housing, Inc., won't take care of his dishonesty at the time of sale. My condition has deteriorated so much that I barely even leave the house any more and can't continue to live like this, so since I don't have the money to sue him, I'm going to have to resort to filing bankruptcy and ruining my good credit. This is one of those things I have no control over and it looks like that might be the only way out of this nightmare. Further, one of the things they failed to disclose at the time of sale was that he and Eastern Housing were right in the very midst of a major class action case regarding the negligent installation of hundreds of manufactured homes. I might add, he lost that one. But, not for lack of trying as he and is gaggle of attorney's managed to drag that case on for years and delaying the inevitable. Do not buy a home from Eastern Housing or any one of the other names he uses. And don't live in this park either. His granddaughter is the manager here and nothing gets done. This is one mistake I won't repeat. I'm a big believer in Karma, so I am at peace knowing he will get his one day.
