I am present on all jobs, everyday, to minimize any complications. I use several long time subs, primarily electrical and sometimes a plumber, both of which I have known for decades. After a summer recuperating from surgery and watching many HGTV episodes, I caught the kitchen re-modeling bug. I worked with a kitchen planner at one of the big box hardware stores and he drew up a plan on the computer based upon my wishes. I selected and purchased all of the components and tweaked the design some. I know Mike at MGT & Associates personally and asked if he was interested in doing the install on my kitchen. We sat down with the plans and the electrician and brainstormed together. I was provided a detailed description of what MGT would provide as far as services and materials, same for the electrician and the plumber (both trades hired by MGT). The job went very smoothly, despite the 60 inch snowfall in early January and February of 2010 . We lost track of the cabinets briefly during the storm, but they were eventually tracked down with diligent phone work by Mike. I was greeted after work each day with a cleaned up work area and on most days either a written or visual progress report. There were some items that I decided to add on to the job during the install. Mike was able to accommodate all my requests. I couldn't be more pleased with my new kitchen! I feel like I live on a HGTV design set every time I walk into these rooms!
