They were a good company.  We didn't have any problems.  They worked with me...even tried to get me to go with a lower priced brand because it would have saved me money.  They were very courteous.  They didn't make a mess.  They made sure that I wasn't buying something I didn't need and they were in and out in 36 hours.  It was actually snowing when they put the system in.  They even followed up a week later to make sure my unit was running efficiently.  I was very pleased with the service.

My heat went out, and he was able to do quick replacemnent on a part to fix it. He was a good guy, very accomodating. I would recommend him.

It was easy to schedule an appointment and there were no additional fees beyond the cost of the deal. When they completed the check up, they found that there was a repair that needed to be made.  However, they were expensive and we chose someone else for the work. They did clean up after completing the work through the deal.

it went OK.  I had purchased two services directly from Angie's List (general check ups) since I had two heat pump units.  I had to call the company since they never coordinated my appointments through Angie's list like other companies have done.  After I  contacted them I was told that I should not have purchased the packages on Angie's List because Angie's List does not pay the company...he specifically said he never sees any of the money that Angie's List gets so he would have to charge extra.  Since he did some extra work (added Freon) I didn't get too upset.  But then I was informed by Angie's List that they do in fact pay businesses when customers purchase service packages through the website...so someone is lying.

Shawn responded in a prompt manner and arrived when he said he would despite his busy schedule for the day.  He quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem.  He could have price gouged us being a weekend, emergency and freezing temperatures but he didn't.  A more well-known  local provider would have charged three times the amount.  We will surely consider Shawn when it's time to replace our system.

Completed an air conditioning tune-up.  Was on time, courteous, explained how the customer could better maintain the unit periodically.

Great!  He ordered the part and came and replaced it two days later.  Sounds much better and we can rest much easier with the very cold weather being predicted that our heat will continue to work.  He showed us the part and where it was starting to crack after he replaced.  

The service was great. I was pleased with the technician's ability to clearly explain everything clearly. It was pretty routine for him, so he was in an out. I would use them again, as they are a local resource.

The work turned out very well. They are very personal, responsive, and very good. This company went above and beyond. He went and came back twice within one day because he needed parts.

This has been the best experience that I have ever had with any service provider that I have had to call to my home!  Shawn, was very professional, punctual, and above all-honest!  My air conditioner wasn't working, he replaced the capacitor on the furnace and as a result...I had cool air-once again!  He was honest about how long the capacitor may last and what may need to be done if it goes out again!  Also, I have never had this part happen to me before...he refused to accept payment for the capacitor!   Shawn, is a top notch service provider!  I definitely would utilize his services again, and I would recommend him to any friend of mine!  This was an Awesome experience! : )  Thanks again, Shawn!

It was great. He worked out per my schedule. He identified the problem and had it back working within an hour. He was very courteous and arranged to meet my schedule. He was upfront with what he told me, that my older unit might not last. He gave me due recommendations and said to contact him, I probably will. He was very professional.

There were two gentleman that came to my house and did an amazing job. I had call yesterday and they made me an appointment today.  They came right in and went to work.  The whole process was quick and efficient.  They had manners too which is rare now days.  They were amazing and I would recommend them to everyone as well as I would use them again.

Shawn was able to get my furnace working again in less than an hour  His trouble shooting skills were excellent.

Sean did an excellent job. His price was $3500 less than Sears' estimate and he provided a unit with a SER rating of 15 as opposed to the SER 13 that Sears was going to provide.  He patiently explained the pros/cons of each unit brand (Trane, Rheem, York, etc) enabling us to easily decide on the best unit for our need.   There is no question that we would use GCL again.  Honest, fair and professional; a superb experience all around.

Shawn Colborn is experienced and professional.  His fees are very reasonable.

Outstanding service.  Constantly communicated with me and service was prompt.  GCL worked with my schedule and provided reasonable prices for parts and labor.

What I said above pretty much covers it.  The only thing I can add is that it was relatively easy to work with him even from a distance as we live in Arizona.  I can't say that about every contractor we have been in contact from this distance.  Shawn also did some repair work on my parents' Carrier heatpump (also there in Waldorf), and my father is very pleased with both the quality of the work and the price.
