The crew was efficient and their work was well done. Communication was prompt as problems arose. and the solutions were effective. .Overall, Stephen (the owner) was very responsive and easy to work with; I would highly recommend him.

It went well all work was completed on time and paid for so as to submit a claim to the DLLR for reimbursment after the lisenced contractor left without completeing.
Reimbursement came for the monies we had spent to complete the job.

I liked their flexibility and their ability to cut a design build. The quality of their work was decent but there were certain issues with regards to skillful work and change orders. Their pricing was ok and decent.

Mr Farmer came in after I have filed a complaint with the Home Improvement Commission against Richard Tadlock for running out on a contracted.
Mr Tadlock had apparently moved and could not be located.
In an effort to secure our home for the upcomming winter we paid the subs he hired and did not pay ;electrician, plumber and Hvac and hired Mr Farmer as a replacement general contractor to finish the job.
Work was completed and we got inspected and moved in the end of November 2009.
We are still working withe the Maryland DLLR to recoop the cost associated with paying the subs ans Mr Farmer.
Thanks to SPF we had our addition completed to our satisfaction.

We needed a lot of small projects done in a new home and wanted a contractor/handyman we could trust with tasks big and small. We also needed to get painting, plumbing and electrical work done but weren't sure where to start and who to use. Steve was very responsive and worked hard to get everything finished on a short deadline, just in time for us to move in. He did everything we asked inside the home and out (fixed window tension, re-caulked skylights and windows, fixed dishwasher, installed baseboards, tightened toilets and replaced gaskets, etc.). He also hired painters and oversaw the entire painting project, and was careful to tell us when we needed specialists for certain jobs (i.e. electrician and plumber). His price was half what we were quoted by a large contracting company, and he was much more honest about what did and did not need to be fixed (instead of telling us the most expensive solutions like the larger company did). Overall we have had a great experience with Steve and plan to keep using him!
