The price was similar to other estimates and they met our timeline. However, they subcontracted ALL of the work to a crew of lazy guys that lied to me, complained to me, and performed sloppy work. I expected potomac to supervise and spot problems, but if I did not point it out, they didn't either. After the work was completed we kept noticing spots missing paint or paint spilled on the floor or poor workmanship, etc. When I complained, I was called a deadbeat who does not want to pay the bill.

"What the customer has left out is that throughout the project he was complimenting us on the quality of work. After project we did a punch list with company, we sent crew back. He was still not satisfied with touch up work. We sent the crew back one more time to touch up minor items. At the end of the job when payment was due, he wanted a discount which we did not feel was warranted. This is first that I have heard about quality of crew, we would have attempted to rectify this by if need be sending a new crew. To be clear this particular crew has worked with us for over 12 years and complaints are rare and minimal. We are also not surprised by this review. We anticipated it . He was upset that we would not give him a discount."

All I know is that when we went for inspection the following occurred: I opened the dishwasher and it fell over, and a nail hole was through the new counter top. Obviously only one coat of paint was used in places, as the old paint color was visible. They neglected to strap down the pipes for the shower, the result being that the knobs moved around and popped out of the wall. There's more but you get the idea. To their little credit, they did send someone back to make some repairs.

"The person initiating this report was not our customer. The seller of the property was the customer. The seller paid for this project not person submitting this report This was a vacant house where the owner was deceased. The owner"s representative was not looking for custom work. Our task was to satisfy the seller of the property They were looking for basic work to prepare the property for market which we believe we did to their satisfaction. Although we cannot be 100 % sure, our best guess is that buyer did a home inspection prior to purchase as well as a final walk through before settlement. We thought and believed until we saw this report that we had satisfied the buyers issues. They certainly did not contact us to share other concerns other then the ones we took care of upon their request"

THE MALE WORKER DIDN'T LIKE WOMEN. HE WAS RUDE AND NASTY. IT RAINED WHILE THE JOB WAS BEING DONE, SO THE JOB WAS HALF DONE. THE WORKER NEVER COMPLETED THE JOB AND LEFT THE PORCH UNDONE.
