Gene's Florist

Our daughter ordered flowers for her Mother's birthday and when she called Gene's at 6:00 p.m. she was told that they deliver until 6:30 p.m.  We waited until 7:00 p.m. and still no flowers.  The person on the phone from Gene's proceeded to give her a bunch of excuses as to why the flowers weren't delivered in a timely manner.  The flowers then arrived at 7:30 p.m. after numerous phone calls and much hassling.  We asked the driver why he didn't leave a message And he replied he didn't have a cell phone.  In our opinion the quality of the arrangement and the service were UNsatisfactory and we won't be dealing with Gene's again.

I felt hurried from the moment the gentleman picked up the phone.  Once he confirmed the order he pretty much hung the phone up while I was trying to aske the question, how do I get a receipt for the purchase.  So, I called back a few hours later to ask about the receipt the gentleman, told me to hold on a minute cause he was on another call.  Then came back to the phone about 2 minutes later only to tell me he couldn't help me and I needed to email [email protected].  Well, when he picked up the phone I immediately told him why I was calling back.  He could have just told me that from the beginning.  I am a paying customer, the arrangement was not free, but Comcast is not!  The only time I felt he was interested in my business was when he was taking the order.  Will not be a repeat customer!

I got a steal with the delivery cost of $10.00. My daughter was not at her regular work location that day so the driver took it upon himself to drive to her other work location about 3 miles away. Very sweet! This company also goes by Rockville Flower and Garden at 301-984-3565 and they deliver from Frederick to Silver Spring.
