Julian Iwundu is an unprofessional liar. Contacted this company after I had a flood from a busted pipe in late January. Initially he was very professional, came in extracted the water and left the fans in the 3 rooms that were affected and returned as promised 4 days later. I asked if he could replace the flooring in the rooms that were damaged and he said yes so we entered into a contract in February. BIG MISTAKE. It took 3 1/2 weeks for the flooring to arrive because of slow delivery and being sent the wrong titles, so he said. It took another week and a half for the workers to start the work. The workers came and completed two room and partially completed the third in the beginning of April. Upon completion of the 2 and a half rooms I sent him photos and complained about of the shoddy workmanship and asked if he could come to my home to check it out. It is May 17th and he has yet to return to my home and when I call, text or email he never responded. Do Not Hire This Company.

VIP Steemer was excellent in their customer service from the first contact with them. They showed up on a holiday as it was December 23 when the flood happened in our home. They responded the same night after hours and began water restoration services immediately. They were friendly, fast and continued to come back daily until the work was completed. They sent in ladies to clean up the mud left from the water damage after the rooms were dry and they had begun the removal of damaged drywall and floorboards. They were there to help us and jumped in to do the work when our insurance company left us hanging for days and were not willing to send out contractors to begin the process of restoration for days on end due to it being the holiday season between Christmas and New Years. We called VIP Steemer after the initial night of cleanup and found out they could handle the complete process immediately and contracted with them to do the entire job from start to finish. They worked with us on inventory of our damaged and salvaged household goods for the insurance company claim, packaging and storage in a facility in order for the restoration process to begin to restore our house for the contracting portion of the work. It was a seamless process and they were careful to take excellent care of all our goods as if it were their own. Our items were completely safe with them. Julian Iwundu worked with us and developed a relationship with us throughout the entire process keeping us abreast of the progress and inquiring on our satisfaction. If something was not to our liking during the contractor phase, they went out of their way to fix it immediately. Julian Iwundu walked us through how to send our insurance check to the mortgage company to get it signed off so we could get it back to sign it and turn it over to his company when the work was finally completed and was very patient in the process (homeowners may not know that this occurs when there are damages to your property on an insurance claim when you have a mortgage with a large claim). They even brought everything back in excellent condition from the storage facility when the work was completed. We could not be more pleased with the entire job from start to finish. We were sad to see them go when everything was done that is how happy we were to have them around during the time they spent working on our home. We will definitely contact them again if we need any recovery, cleaning, contractor or moving services because of the level of trust they inspired in us.

Big Deal, Big Disappointment! Our first scheduled appointment had to be
reacheduled because the truck en route had "broken down." They didn't
bother to call to let me know this and I only found out by calling them
45 minutes after they were scheduled to arrive. On the rescheduled day
Julian was 2 hours late and did a very poor job spending less than 45
minutes doing 4 areas and a couch. I wouldn't use this company again
even if it was free.

I had purchased a big deal for the service, and at the time we didn't know any better, and they did a really good job. We had a puppy and over time, he had grown up, and I had cleaned up after him, and we decided that we will just get a professional cleaner. They also cleaned our couch and chair at a previous time, and we thought so highly of them, that we decided that we would make an appointment for him to take the rug, clean it, and bring it back to us. That is what he did. There was a fringe missing on the rug, and they said they would do that, and they would also clean it, and in the end, they said that we would have to have somebody else do it. The service guy wasn't in tune with the management, so they returned it without the fringe being fixed, and they had just cleaned the rug. The rug cleaning was great when we got it back, but we began to smell the urine within a short time. We did not discuss if we would be smelling the urine after a while or what the cleaning entailed, so I think it was a communication issue with us as well as with them. I think in the long run, we wouldn't use them again because they didn't clean out the urine as we thought they would. We had told them why we needed it cleaned. The pricing was good, and it would have been a steal if they would have done what they were supposed to do. He was a really nice guy, and that was why we decided to use him for the rugs after.

Honestly, I could not tell a significant difference in how the tiles looked after they were cleaned.  I believe they were cleaner, but they did not look much different.  That may be in part because they are old and likely need new grouting as well.
I thought they did just a so-so job of cleaning up after they left.

They did a good job.  I was very pleased.  They delivered everything that was promised.  I would call them again if I needed them.

The service was well done and well worth the money. I was very happy with their work.

My experience was okay. There was one person here doing the work and he was on time for the appointment. They did a pretty good job cleaning the carpets.

He was fine. The young man did a good job. They came out within a week or so.

Using an Angie's List "Big Deal" I had them out to the house to clean the carpets.  They did a very good job.  We have two dogs (lots of short little hairs) and two young kids (lots of juice drips from sippy cups, etc).  The carpets looked fresh and clean and I didn't notice any stains appearing afterwards, which seems to be a common complaint from carpet cleaners.

The carpet was cleaned in afew hours.

Actually, I'm getting a little confused, because I think I used them twice, or maybe I used a different company the first time, perhaps in 2011, after a horrible sub-lessee moved out of the basement with her smelly cat and I had to get that area cleaned, and then again in 2013, when I moved out of this rental house myself.
Anyway, the Service of Stanley Steemer for the 2013 service was just fine and performed will professionalism.
I had to keep my eyes on their equipment a little, and one time warned them that one of their hoses was leaking a minimal amount on a section of wood floor, but overall they were professional and went to fix any problems I pointed out punctually and with good grace.

I bought a Big Deal with Vip Steemer to have my carpet cleaned.  Specific offer: "Vip Steemer, a highly rated service provider on Angie's List, is offering carpet cleaning for four standard areas with stain protection and deodorizing plus one sofa for only $130 to our members! This service is normally $300, saving Angie's List members $170!".
The company did not show up for its appointment and called afterwards letting me know that they were missing a part to clean the carpet.  Additionally, VIP said the service would now cost more because my property was in a high-rise condo.  To me it was the old bait and switch that some of the vendors seem to practice on Angie's list when offering a huge discounts in service.  There was no mention in the deal about the type of property.
The overall quality of the cleaning was fine.

It was average. I had to point out some things and they had to re-do. I wouldn’t use them again. They didn’t move anything around. They just cleaned around stuff. Their truck got stuck in my lawn and in getting out they basically tore up my grass.

They were apologetic, professional and nice on the phone.  I received a refund on this.
