Description of Work: General contractor - addition and renovation project. Trades were hired and some were better than others. The foreman assigned to our project was excellent and responsive.

Description of Work: I highly recommend Bob. We had an idea for the renovation of our kitchen, but Bob's ideas really set it apart and made it shine. The idea he had for moving a door for the powder room was ingenious, as was the positioning of the stove and the addition of a mudroom. He finished the job ON TIME, was UNDER BUDGET, very honest (I never was concerned leaving him and his workers alone in our house) and very professional in all areas. Very much a down to earth family man who understands how a family "lives" in a home and makes suggestions and does work to better accomplish that. The people who work for him are also experts in their field -- very professional and open to suggestions. At once point, we weren't pleased with the quality of the flooring we had purchased for him to install. He helped us figure out what would look better --- and now we look at that floor and recognize how it really adds to the look of the room -- all a credit to Bob. We hired him to refinish our deck too! And, we would hire him again in a heartbeat. He's the man you want, no matter what the size of your project. I recommended him to a co worker for a bathroom renovation and she's thrilled with the outcome too.

Description of Work: Called Bob to get an estimate for a roof addition. He came on time, and was honest to inform me that a roof addition is not a viable solution. I asked him for a roofer, which he provided me with ease. The only reason I didn't use his roofer is because His roofer didn't install PVC roofs. I'm sure that if I have any big project to recommend or hire Nautilus.

Description of Work: We used Nautilus Builders to completely remodel our master bathroom and closet. It was a complex project that involved moving some walls while completely reworking the design of the bathroom. In summary we replaced all the tiling and fixtures in the bathroom, reconfigured the shower and improved the lighting. The soaking tub required a specially designed cabinet to handle the plumbing. It came out perfectly. We reconfigured the walk-in closet and had custom shelving designed and installed in it. The pocket doors are a nice touch as well. All workers were trustworthy and took care to minimize the disruption to the rest of the house. The project took about as long as expected. We were so pleased with the result that engaged them to paint all of our first floor!

Description of Work: I have contacted Nautilus and spoke to one of their sales people about getting an estimate for a home addition and major remodeling. He promised to get back to me to schedule an estimate once I emailed him my availability. I did not hear back after sending this email or after several additional emails and follow-up calls. Grossly unprofessional conduct.

Description of Work: Contacted Bob to get some pretty arcane advice about permits, inspections and drawings done for a renovation. He took time to walk me through the process, advise me on the right questions to ask and gave me the contact information for an architect.

Description of Work: Services included: regrading backyard and building up a retaining wall for better drainage; painting trim on house and power washing siding; electric heavy-up; remodel kitchen including some custom built cabinetry.

Description of Work: They did a complete reconstruction and remodel of the fifth floor of my house and a master bathroom, including painting.

Description of Work: Robert M Lipovsky of Nautilus Builders rebuilt our home after a catastrophic fire. Of three contractors interviewed he had the best references and was the only one with a project underway. There we met one of his subcontractors and one of his employees. Our goal was to find a contractor who would build a quality home which included a variety of modifications and upgrades. We are glad we chose Bob. First he arranged a meeting with his architect to see how best to meet our wishes -- elevator, additional floor, relocated powder room etc. -complete list available.

Description of Work: Complete renovation of main living areas including: Kitchen bump-out, addition of Parisian-style balcony, modernized contemporary windows, fireplace, new kitchen, new family room interior, expansion of foyer area and whole-house interior lighting updates.

Description of Work: Built brick exterior addition onto master bedroom (new closet), renovated bathrooms and bedrooms, replaced windows in house, refinished wood floors, replaced furnaces.

Description of Work: Nautilus built for us a beautiful massive three story addition onto our already existing home. We lived in the house during the entire time.
