"We appreciate your business!!!!"
This was a $99 big deal purchase. They were okay. I did not dislike anything. I mean, they fixed the door. My interactions with them were fine; they were friendly, polite and professional. They might have taken a couple of minutes longer to fix the problem, but they did fix the problem. Actually I am happy with them. They were only, like, a few minutes over, that was all. They were responsive, he told me what they were doing. I think they were on time, I can't remember.
"As we explain to everyone because our orders are not on carbon copy that the contract can be either emailed, faxed, mailed, or written twice while we are there. You chose the mail option so that's what we did. However we do appreciate your business and proud you live the work!!"
This was a $99 big deal. It went good bug but it was not enough time to get done what we needed done so the job still needs to be fixed up a little more. They came out not too long after I purchased the deal. Maybe within a week or so. They considered our availability too. For what we needed to get done I guess the price was not too bad. The door is not really aesthetically appealing. It was not that horrible of an experience.
"[Member Name Removed] we appreciate you giving us a shot to perform the door repair for you. However what we don't want is you to mislead the Angie's List community on your interaction with our company. First thing I want to correct is the deal was for 2 hrs of door maintenance and "weatherization" is a form of door maintenance which was covered with your $99 purchase. The initial convo was NOT a sales call it was to evaluate your issue, introduce our company, and make you understand the risks associated with trying to repair a old rotten door that's over 50 years old generally. It's obvious if your looking to cut corners on a repair and not replace the door you cannot expect the door to be perfect as it would be if you decided to allow us to replace it and put a lifetime warranty. In your review you admitted that it was a very difficult old lock and you also said it was put on just not to your 100 percent satisfaction. That goes back again to being REALISTIC that if your cutting corners and don't want to pony up the cost to replace please don't blame us if it's not perfect like a replacement door would be. We received no reports from our crew that the door was damaged and actually we have every customer sign a "satisfactory completion certificate" before we leave the house. Usually if there's damage to a customers door they will call the company and tell them or report it to the sales manager we received nothing but a signed completion certificate which says your satisfied but that does not match your review so I'm confused are you satisfied like your signature says on our paperwork or are you unhappy???? It's also obvious we tried to complete the job by " sanding the gap" but you declined and we would of not charged you to complete the work after 2 hrs if it was a result of damage caused by us. Our company does not operate on " you get what you pay for" it doesn't matter how much your job cost is whether it's a penny or a billion our commitment is 100 percent satisfaction. We expect our customers to communicate your concerns to us and allow us to do our job to make you happy before it gets to the point where you leave us a bad rating or review. I don't believe it's fair to us for you to hide your true feelings about our work and sign a satisfied completion form then turn around and go on Angie's list and do a complete 360. I will offer you an additional FREE service to get the door where your 100 percent happy as long as again your realistic in your expectations for a old rotten door repair. Thanks again for the opportunity"

The bolts were easily attached.
They cleaned up after themselves pretty well, but I still needed to vacuum later.
Very friendly, very professional.
This is not their real line of work, however, they are window installers!
The "special" was just to make themselves better known...

"[Member Name Removed] you purchased a $99 door maintenance from the "big deal " advertising we promoted. You were allowed up to 2 hours but our guys finished in one hour. Our service team is instructed that if there were any time left over to have the customer show us any other potential issues which apparently you did not. We did our job and you were 100% satisfied with the work so it hurts to see that you did not reflect that in your review. The price was set by Angies List not us so we should of received an "A" for that on top of $99 being MORE than reasonable obviously we dont work for free neither do our employees. You purchased it knowing your needs were routine maintenance which can vary on time. If there's anything we can do as a company to have you reevaluate your review on the basis of its inaccuracy's let us know because we want all Angie's List customers to know the truth. We appreciate your business"
Second the negatives: Green LLC send out a subcontractor, which caught me by surprise, and seemed shady to me.
They didn't have the bare supplies with them. Even if supplies are not included in the deal, I would have imagined that a door-focused contractor would have sealant strips, which they could add to the bill. But instead after just five minutes in the house (I paid for TWO hours of labor) they told me I would have to buy the supplies and I would need to pay them for another job.
This felt to me like a scam to get consumers to buy more, rather than a genuine attempt to work with the customers to fix their doors.
Also the irony that a company called Green LLC does not have sealants with them- insulation is the number one step to making a door more energy efficient. But, then again, they send out a subcontractor.
Rather than buying the deal through Angie's I would have been better off getting a different contractor, who actually would fix my doors, and probably would cost me less all in all.
"[Member Name Removed] when you purchased our $99 door maintenance at no point did it read that we were obligated to send out a servicemen that worked directly for our company. We are a full service window and door replacement company so if your ordering a replacement all of our installers will work directly for us. However you purchased a $99 job for service so in that case you were referred to our subs for maintenance and all of our subs are background checked so Im confused on what made you come up with the word "scam" We would not be on Angies list if we didnt have the reputation to qualify so please choose your words properly and not misrepresent our character that we work so hard to build and maintain. Next your complaining that we didnt have any supplies its obvious we didnt because it clearly said LABOR ONLY. Obviously you missed that expecting us to show up with materials but if its LABOR ONLY how can you have hard feelings that we didnt have the supplies when you didnt do a good enough job reading the ad you purchased. The deal is purchased thru Angie so if you wanted to add something to the bill because you missed LABOR ONLY it would be ethically wrong to have a side deal with you when I made a deal with Angie to pay them a percentage of the work so the answer would have been "no". Please take responsibility of the fact that you didnt read the ad like you should of and not throw us "under the bus" for your mistakes. We are happy to hear that the bolts and locks were readjusted to your satisfaction and even though you purchased two hours of maintenance our guys are talented and they make it look easy sometime based on the speed and efficiency in which they work. ALL of our guys were instructed that if they finished early to ask the customer if they were any other work that needed to be done around the house to give you the biggest bag for your buck. Who told you that they would charge you for the 2nd trip if you went to go get your materials because it wasnt anyone from management who has the authority to make those decisions because we would have told you to go purchase your materials like the ad said and we would of came back and serviced you at no additional fee. We appreciate you giving us a shot and next time when you purchase anything obviously you have to read the ad clearly and not expect the vendor to make exceptions for one customer out of 40 who purchased it. Thanks"

About a year ago I had a contractor come out and give me a price to replace my old windows, but was way more then I could afford.
Then one of Green Energy LLC's representatives came by my house back in April and offered me a chance to replace that terrible window at a price I could afford. He showed me all my options and worked hard for me to get what I needed at a price I could afford and ended up saving me well over $1,000. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the product he was promoting and answered all my questions, even the dumb ones. Gave me a good time frame too and worked around my granddaughters wedding for me : )
When the service guys came to replace the windows they were friendly and on time.Did a beautiful job and had it done in about 4 hours time. They cleaned up the work area so well you couldn't even tell they had been there. And they hauled all the old windows away.I am very pleased with the whole experience and would recommend them to anyone in need of replacement windows and doors.
