He did horrible roof replacement then did not return my money. $5,886 to be exact and he overcharged. Shingles were put on my roof that did not match then was spray painted over to cover up the poor work. The original picture he sent me was not the real picture. What makes it worse, I was notified by my HOA and had to pay for a roof inspection just to find out the new roof I just paid thousands of dollars for was not up to Maryland code and had no underlayment. 2 inspections later, they both agreed this was the worse job they have ever seen and guess what I have to pay thousands of dollars more to get my roof replaced the correct way. Please stay away.

Winston and his team responded immediately to my request for a leak in my parent's roof. It was pouring rain but they went up on the roof; found the issue; explained the problem, with pictures; and then proceeded to fix within hours! Great response and service. I would recommend these guys if you need quick assistance and good work for any roofing needs.

Winston Codner and his team did an excellent job replacing the rotting wood trim and painting trim on the entire house.  Their cost was at least $4,000 lower than two other estimates.  I talked with Winston during the second week of April and his team started work promptly the following week, on Monday, April 14.  Despite rain that at times interfered, they completed the work on April 24, within two weeks of the start date. This job turned out to be anything but routine, and I was very concerned that it would run way over budget.  As a single Mom, my household budget is very tight.  Mr. Codner worked with me to keep the expenses as low as possible, and I greatly appreciate his flexibility.  
The house had visibly rotting wood under the large windows in front of the house, around at least eight other windows, and along the side of the chimney. However, when Codner's team removed the wood trim they found rotting plywood in several places - underneath the front windows, around a back patio door, and underneath the wood trim on the chimney.   Apparently, the original builder failed to put any waterproofing material over the plywood anywhere on the house!  Two wood posts on the side stairs leading up to the wrap-around porch and the attached railing had also begun to rot, and when Codner's carpenter (Jimmy) pulled up the posts, he discovered that they had been placed directly into the ground and not in concrete.
Jimmy did a first rate job in all the carpentry work, which was extensive. He replaced the stair posts and anchored them properly in concrete, replaced a lower step and part of the stair frame, replaced the wood frame around the windows, removed the siding and replaced the plywood and the wood trim around the chimney, and did the same for the rotting wood under the front windows and around the back patio door.  The carpentry work itself took a week.  The painters then took over and did a very professional job painting all the trim.  I am very pleased with the color that Winston suggested; it's a warmer off-white that goes perfectly with the vinyl siding. I am also pleased with the exterior light Winston chose to replace one that no longer worked. The front porch now looks like new; in fact, the entire house looks as good as it did when I moved in 20 years ago.

All jobs went wonderfully! Codner is the first contractor I've ever trusted and he keeps proving that my faith is justified. What's truly amazing is that Codner seems able to fix or build just about anything, even though roofing is his specialty. He's a great shopper too. Somehow he knows what styles to buy and has an artistic flair. Codner and his entire team are quick, courteous, considerate and capable. Codner is at the helm and an excellent manager of his carefully chosen team. They work together smoothly, almost magically, like a band of angels turning my damaged home into heaven. I am ever so grateful to have finally found a reliable and and consistently great contractor! I spent most of my savings to hire a team I can trust to do a multitude of large jobs correctly. Codner is worth every penny!
