District Window & Glass Repair

Absolutely outstanding. Dean at District Window offers the kind of repair service that seems harder and harder to find. Good price, great communication, professional and knowledgeable service technician, and a sincere pleasure to work with. Two windows were not staying closed, and a third had a crack in the glass and condensation had gotten between the two glass panels. I called about the windows that weren't staying closed and Dean sent his service technician Waleed to give a free estimate. Waleed examined the windows, and offered to fix the cracked glass panel. The window is a unique shape, and Waleed took the window apart to measure the glass. Then Dean called to provide the estimate. They took about a week to fabricate the parts, then came back and a couple hours later the work was done. The new glass is beautiful, and windows work like new. Definitely will hire again and highly recommend Dean for any window repair work you need.

Next day, Dean replaced the single broken glass window pane of the double pane window in my bedroom. Called me over to see if the window was installed correctly. I stated, NO! Pathetic job. Inside window latches were not catching as he raised the window and Dean said it was, 'fFne'. How is it fine I asked? 'It is not catching at all'. He said he would, 'fix it. NO DIFFERENCE. Whatever he did, however, it is really difficult to open the window at all. The window frame moves when you try to raise it up. Dean did what all the other window people did. "Same variables do not produce different outcomes".. I asked if there was such a thing as tempered or safety glass that could be used in the window; so if the window falls and breaks it does not harm anyone. He said, "They don't do that'..in only cars. No one does'...Hopefully, my Angel will hold it up. PRAYERS UP ... Dean is, however, a very nice, likable and personable guy ...

The window is fixed and the quality of the work is good. However Ben, the repairman, was late to both the appointment to measure the window and the instillation. Also, price seemed high. I was hoping for a slight discount when Ben was late (again) for the instillation, but he did not offer to compensate me for the wasted time.

Dean Aouini came out the same day and replaced the glass. He was very efficient and courteous. I would definitely hire again and recommend highly.

It went very well. The team was very responsive and we got an estimate scheduled quickly. The new window was ordered, came in on time and installation was scheduled quickly. Ben was very thorough and helpful. I appreciate his efforts to get the job done as quickly as he could and with high quality service.

Very professional and workmanlike. Ben worked on the screens for all windows and repaired things wrong with our old windows as needed to make the screens work and look good. They did a great job, showed up as promised. Would definitely hire again.

District Window Repair came on time and gave me a reasonable price. He was finished within fifteen minutes. We were very pleased with his service.

I phoned Dean this morning asking him if he could repair broken glass in a  first floor window that was broken to gain entrance to our home during a home invasion.  He said that he could come today/this afternoon, which was wonderful.  He came on time, was very efficient, professional, and cleaned up on the inside and out, and did not leave a trace.  He was a lovely man who I would recommend highly.  I thought that his price was very fair. It was a pleasure doing business with Dean owner of District Window & Glass Repair.

The whole experience was very easy and reassuring. Dean is very professional and completed the job quickly and beautifully. Even though this job was relatively small and the location was relatively easy, I would recommend Dean highly for any job involving glass repair.

I appreciated their knowledge and honesty.  He gave me the options.  I decided to have him secure the window and will make a decision in the future for replacement.

Dean was awesome. Best estimate. Was contacted on an afternoon and appointment was made for following day at 9 am. Dean was on time. Began work immediately and was finished by 9:30 am. Was neat and efficient.

I would definitely recommend. I had a broken window pane, they repaired it two days later even though they needed to custom order the glass. The work was perfect and hundreds less then the next closest competitor.

District Windows and Glass Repair came out replaced a few broken windows. I have an old fashioned home with large windows and he did great job. I would highly recommend them. They came when they said they would, it was just a great experience. They even offered to do more than we asked, just went above and beyond our expectations.

I called this company to replace a garage window that was smashed by an intruder.  They were able to come that day to look at it, and repaired it the next day, which was great for me, because I then didn't have to worry about boarding up the window.  They did a good job with the repair, and provided me recommendations on what type of glass to use in the future. They also called to check on the price of the glass they recommended before ordering it, and upon hearing the price, provided me a cheaper alternative, which I very much appreciated.

One thing to mention.  Both days they came they were later than they originally planned by about 1-2 hours, but they were easily reached by phone to get updates on their planned arrival.  Ultimately, it didn't pose a huge inconvenience for us, but you probably shouldn't plan to squeeze them in if you are planning a busy day.  However, the lateness wouldn't stop me from recommending  them or using them again. 

I called Dean on Saturday to ask about replacing a window pane.  I had the new pane already, but needed the old pane removed from the window, then removed from its vinyl casing, the new pane placed into the vinyl casing and then placed back in the frame.  He was very friendly and responsive.  We agreed on a time for him to come on Monday evening to replace the pane.  I asked for an estimate but he said he would give it to me on location and wouldn't charge me for the visit if I didn't like the estimate.  On Sunday morning he called me back to say he could come that day if I was free.  I wasn't, but I appreciated the follow-up.  He came early on Monday, looked at the window, and quoted me a price of $150.  My realtor had said it would probably cost me about $200, so this was within my budget.  He and his assistant took the damaged pane and the new pane out to their truck.  15 minutes later they brought the new pane back in, set in the vinyl casing, and put it back in the window frame.  I gave them a check and they left.

Throughout, Dean was very friendly and polite, as was his assistant.  One of the smoothest interactions I've had with repairmen in a while; I'll definitely call Dean again if I ever need window repair.  I'm very pleased with every aspect of my interaction with him.

lIt took him some time and considerable physical effort, but he managed to get the window back in its frame and fixed in place.

Pleasant on the phone, courteous. Told me the price range, based on whether the windows needed replacement parts or not (they did). Arrived on time to assess the windows, then collected $150 deposit for parts and service call. Called us back when the parts arrived and arranged a time the next day to come and install/finish job. They ended up getting delayed that next day on a different job, so we had to re-schedule. I would have preferred they just call and tell me, "look, we can't make it afterall," instead of my waiting that afternoon and then hearing that they could not come. But they came the next business day and completed the job just fine, on time, then collected the remaining payment. We've had other providers come out to service our condo windows, and frankly, there's no one who will do this kind of thing inexpensively--it's a racket. But District Window did a good job, and we would recommend them to anyone.

i called and spoke to rashid on a thursday morning before the move into my new house. the lower casement was badly cracked and had to be repaired before the move for security reasons. rashid came over to measure the window that afternoon and returned the next day with the window, which he installed. their price was significantly lower than the other companies i called, like $100.-150. less, and the service was wonderful. i was surprised that it cost this much for the repair but was told by another contractor that it cost him $150. when he just got the glass and did his own installation so the price was right.

Made my job easy.

Dean responded to my call, came when he said he would, did what he said he would do, charged 1/5 the price of the only other window repair place that would even give me a quote and lowered the price when he was late getting the replacement window from the manufacturer.
