replacement windows
+ -1 moreKnow up front that windows salesmen are like car salesmen. They start at a retail price and then start throwing in discounts and what not but only available if you sign up today. If you hesitate, they'll call their manager to get a better deal.
Description of Work: We had Andersen give an estimate for replacing all our windows (about 30). The salesman was polite and professional and everything was going along well until he did the car salesman thing: I can give you this price right now, but if I leave you can't get the great discount. Also, they offered interest deferred for 2 years but if you took it you lost 10% of the discount.The started at about $45000 and discounted to $30000. We said no and the salesman was not too pushy and left. We've since signed a contract for $24000 that includes features that Andersen didn't even pretend to provide.
