Nelson Tree Specialist was incredibly professional, and did an incredible job removing the old tree on our property. The tree had some branches growing through the electrical wires, and it wasn’t even a problem for them to figure out how to handle it. The large tree removed required extra equipment including a crane (to ensure that parts of the tree did not damage the property or house when cut off), as well as a dumpster given the circumference of the tree trunk. Our neighbors were all impressed as well at how efficiently, and safely everything was done. Plus, given the complexity of removing the large tree, they actually had the lower bid of those we received, and they even were able to schedule us very quickly (within a week or two). We would use them again, and would recommend them.

The Specialists were prompt, answered all my questions, removed all debris and made sure the trimming was to my satisfaction.

Excellent service, from quick and responsive estimate till the work was completed. I was impressed by the skill of the workers and how efficiently they worked - they each knew their role and they were very impressive to watch. After they took down the tree they ground the stump and extensive roots - then cleaned the work area so that you would never imagine tree branches all over just minutes prior. Would definitely use this company again!

They were very easy to deal with and punctual on an estimate and getting a proposal in place. They did a a great job preparing the area and then dropping the branches and trees right down the tree line and not on my or my neighbors lawn. I think there were 2 crews but they all worked hard and fast and finished quicker than I thought they would. Clean-up was also perfect. I would very highly recommend them.

The men came and removed the branches that were growing close to my house and my neighbor's house. The branches were taken away and most of the debris from the tree. We have lived in an area of a lot of mature oak trees for 45 years and have had experience with large tree removal. We have used several companies in the past and for the most part happy with all of them. We needed 4 trees removed and since I had such a wide range of estimates, I decided to get more than the normal 3. I got seven. However, Nelson Tree Specialists was simply top-notch from stem to stern. The estimator knew exactly what he was doing and within 15 minutes I had my estimate. Some of the others were expressing doubt about how they would get to the tree behind the garage even with a crane. A couple of the estimates were triple Nelson but most were within 20-30%. They were there on-time, removed 4 large trees, and were gone in 8 hours +-. When they left you would not know they had been there except the trees were gone. Needless to say, I highly recommend them.

Danny had to reschedule the first estimate due to being ill, but after that he came on time a few days later. He scheduled the work to be done within the week and the crew arrived early. They did the work efficiently and cleaned up the yard well. They did a nice job on the pruning too. An extreme value for the price. Included removal and stump grinding. Highly recommended.

The work went very well. We were surprised at how fast and efficient the crew was. They also cleaned up the ground after the work was done. They were pleasant to do business with.

Everything went well. The crew did miss one of the limbs that was supposed to be removed and there was a delay in getting them back out to take it down. Eventually, though, we got it all worked out and the limb was removed. The crew was very nice and worked very effectively. I was impressed at how well they cleaned everything up as they went. Definitely recommend despite the glitch.

Please be aware that this vendor will add a service fee if you attempt to pay with a credit card. That went unmentioned during the estimating process. I sent a check, but they needed to wait until it cleared before the job was scheduled. It wasn't a problem this time because there was no hurry or emergency. Just be aware. The trimming itself wasn't as drastic as they first stated. The overall opinion was that doing something that dramatic would have killed the tree. But the end result was pretty good. It is now away from the house and the power line. Although because the trimming was drastic, I fully expect that I will be needing trimming again soon (maybe spring?)

They were very professional and quick.

Antonio came out last week and provided an easily understandable estimate of the costs. I had gotten three other bids and was waiting for a fifth. With two exceptions (one was seriously high and one came out but never sent me a bid), all of the firms provided clear estimates with only a few hundred dollars differentiating them. As I had to choose one, I decided to go with Nelson's. The work was scheduled this week, on Monday, August 14th. Ramon, the on-site manager, and four other guys did the work. They showed up promptly at 8:00 a.m. and worked straight till lunch. They took a short lunch break and were back at it. I was very impressed how they took out the large dead trees and with little damage to any plants around. It was quite impressive. After they were finished, Ramon asked me to take a look at the job. I was so impressed. They did all that I had asked of them and cleaned up everything, leaving the yard perfectly clean. I have a crapemyrtle that will need trimming in the fall/winter and I will contact Nelson Tree Specialist for that job as well. I highly recommend them and their price was extremely reasonable.

Got an estimate in the morning, the crew came a couple of hours later and did a terrific job. Very quick and professional. Would hire again.

Nelson's work crew did an outstanding job removing the tree using a crane removing big tree trunk over the 2nd story house of my neighbor. They cleaned up all debris from both properties and were very quick in completing the job.

There was three guys. they were very efficient. They took down the tree in just a couple of hours. They cleaned up and were gone very quickly. I was very happy with the work they did.

Everything went extremely well. We called, they sent out an estimator with in two days. The price was fair to other quotes, and the work was completed the following week. The work was done very well, and we had no issues with the experience. We would hire them again if we have needs in the future.
