The original estimate was to see about having an oak tree removed in the front yard to support some plumbing work we were going to have done that week. As the plumber was able to do the work without the tree being removed we went with the trimming of the branches. The gentleman providing the estimate was very honest about the condition of the tree and was not pressuring us to needlessly remove the tree (1500.00 including stump grinding) and provided us the estimate for the branch trimming. The crew arrived the next morning and quickly went to work. They were very efficient and professional and did a great job to include clean up of all fallen branches and sticks.

It was fantastic! They were all over the place getting the job done. You could not ask for better company. They were fast and did the best possible job.

They gave me a good price and the guys were great. I had compared them to Home Town and they had given me a better price. They were also good. I called up, he came within hours because I'm close, gave me an estimate, and I had them work on it the next day.

Looked them up on Angies List Thursday and sent an e-mail. Mr Pineda arrived Friday morning to give an estimate and said they could do the job Monday. Monday afaternoon four men spent three hours cutting back our bushes to bare branches, grinding up the branches and cleaning up. I think they did a very very good job and recommend them to anyone wanting bushes cut back.

I had called another tree trimmer who was recommended and he took well over a week to drive by and look at the trees and then call to give me an estimate. When I got the estimate my husband and I thought it sounded high so I decided to join Angie's list to find a few alternatives. Romeo, of Nelson Tree Specialist, called me back the same day and made an appointment for the next morning, arriving when he said he would, to discuss exactly what I needed done. He provided me with recommendations on how to best deal with the extremely tall Leland Cypress, listened to my preferences and then explained exactly what he would do and gave me an estimate on the spot. The team came the next day as promised and completed the job earlier than expected and within about 4 hours. They were fast and asked my opinion at various points in the process to make sure they were cutting where I was expecting. As I requested they also trimmed some branches leaning over the neighbor's deck (I had cleared this with the neighbor prior). They took great care to clearn up our yard and the neighbor's and left everything as they had found it. I was really pleased with the prompt, professional service and the price was right - less than half the other company.

The guy who came to give the estimate was superb. He was not condescending and very helpful. He was just wonderful to deal with. It was a huge job, and they did it very well. They had to bring a crane to lift two ton sections of tree trunk over our house. I would have them again in a heartbeat.

Overall great and easy experience. Quick call back, same day estimate, fair price. Exactly the type of service experience I hope for. Nelson was recommended to me and is highly recommended by me. The attention to customer satisfaction shows in the work quality and referral history.

We woke up last week to a tree in our backyard split in half, with one half leaning toward our fence. I called Nelson Tree Specialist and the owner, Nelson Villafuerte, was at our house two hours later. He took a look at the damage, gave me what I thought was a very good price and offered to fit us by the end of the day, waiving the emergency fee. Because the ground was saturated with water, he said he would send his employees the following week to take care of the stump. He asked me not to send any money until the job was done, which was completed yesterday to our complete satisfaction. Everyone was very professional and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. (They also removed a stump left in the backyard by the previous homeowners).

A 75 ft tre, 3 ft wide, fell on our garage during hurricane Sandy. We called Nelson Tree Service after getting a recommnedation from a friend. We called at 11pm on the night of the storm. Nelson told us he would meet us at the house the next morning. 9am the next morning, Nelson came to the house and evaluated the situation, he told us he would return with a crew that afternoon. At 2pm a crew of 8 workers with a crane, branch shredder and two trucks arrived, cut, lifted and disposed of the whole tree and did a great job of clean up!

Right after the derecho storm June 2012, we wanted to take down some trees in our backyard. Nelson was already in the area and we called to get an estimate. They were on time and professional. Because they were already in the area they offered a discount. They assessed the trees and gave us a written estimate. They took out the trees and ground in the stumps. The only negative was that the brick patio was slightly damaged. Other than that we were verysatisfied with the work and would use them again.

I made a call in the morning to Nelson Tree Specialist asking for an estimate for the removal of a large tree and a small tree in my backyard that were damaged in a summer storm. The sales representative Gilberto, was at my house by noon. He looked at the 2 trees and gave me a very reasonable price to have them removed. I then asked him if it would be a possibility for Nelson Tree Specialist to perform the work before Monday due to a storm (Hurricane Sandy) heading towards our area early next week. He said he would try to make arrangements to get a crew out to do the job. At around 8 PM that evening I received notification the a crew would be onsite at 8 AM. The crew showed up right on time and within 3 hours both trees were removed and all the debris in the area cleaned up. This crew was very courteous and performed the work with great professionalism and with safety in mind. I was very pleased with the way the work was accomplished and I will definitely use Nelson Tree Specialist in the future when tree work is needed.

I contacted Nelson Tuesday (10/6) morning and he was at the house that afternoon to give the estimate. I felt that his estimate was reasonable and contracted with him to do the work. His crew was there on Thursday 10/6 in the morning.. By early afternoon the tree was down and most of the wood was hauled away. The next morning they hauled away the remainder of the wood and ground the stump and roots. They really did a top notch job. .

Nelson, the owner, came out and gave an estimate of the work and offered a reasonable price based on other estimates I had received. We agreed to have him do the work. Because the tree was leaning significantly and in danger of falling, he estimated he could have his crew remove it within two days, which I greatly appreciated. In fact, from the time of the estimate to service was less than a day! The crew was efficient and careful, and everything was done and completed quickly and as expected. The only minor issue is they dd not call ahead to tell me when they were coming. Fortunately, someone was there when they arrived. Overall, a high degree of excellence and professionalism from the estimate to the work performed .

. We contacted four tree service companies for estimates and Nelson Tree Specialist came out and gave us an estimate the next day. Once we gave Nelson the go-ahead, he had his crew here at 8:00am the next business day. They completed all agreed-upon work, and even trimmed several dead branches on a neighbor's tree (with permission) that overhung our property, at no additional cost. All work was completed, including thorough clean-up, within three hours. We are very pleased with their work and will not hesitate to contact them when next we need tree service.

Due to storm damge fom the June 29th storm, there was a delay in getting the work done, but the job went well and relatively fast once it started.

I thought their price was a little high so I did not go with them. The information that they provided was good; it was just the price that I had a problem with.

Nelson's crews were efficient and professional. Nelson, himself, followed up after the work was completed. He came to our home to make sure everything was completed to our specification and make sure we were satisfied with the work. It is obvious that he takes pride in the work of his crews and that he strives to ensure his customers are happy and satisfied. Apparently Nelson understands what "customer service" really is about, which is why customers like us think so highly of him.

It went very well. I sent an email one evening and they called me withing 5 minutes. We set an appointment for the next day when Nelson came out to give me an estimate. He was very thorough explaining the kinds of trees and my options, and gave me the estimate on the spot.Services were performed within a couple days. What a great crew!!!!!

Wow what a professional company, I have had a lot of tree work done in the past but none have been like this. The estimate was painless, he new his job and I did not have to do a lot of explaining. They were able to start the next day wow did not have to wait weeks for work to be done! The entire team took safety to the next level, everybody wore hard hats, and they were properly harnessed to the tree no corners cut here! The work was done so fast and the clean up was incredible, blowers rakes you name it they were cleaning it up! Nelson the owner is super easy to deal with and really listens to what you want done I will never use a different tree service again. All of there equipment was new and clean, he owns his own crane what a difference! I can't recommend them enough!
