Our real estate agent recommended Volney with high appraisals. I was hesitant at first about depending on the agent for references, but Volney was great. He thoroughly covered the premises, and anything that was a DIY that a first time buyer may not know he'll give you the details on what you need to do for small repairs (a couple of items that popped up on our list have to wait for warmer weather, after the closing).
I thought his price to be reasonable as well. I probably could have found someone for less, but I may not have gotten the quality and professionalism that I received.
