Once again, Hometown plumbing delivers. They found us excellent fixtures at fair prices. They worked within our budget and offered the best options not necessarily the "most expensive" ones. Charlie took the time to show us examples and give us options we didn't know we had in terms of installation. The worked on pipes were brought up to code with minimal cuts into the drywall. Overall, we couldn't be happier to have used them again.

When I called they had our information in the system & were able to look up any possible warranties. I spoke with Gail who was very friendly & knowledgeable. When the plumber (Charlie) arrived, he talked through the problems & scheduled us for a system flush the next morning ($200). This did not solve the problem. So on the third day he came out again & took photos of the system, emailed them to the manufacuturer to see if possible to replace just the heat box or the sensors. I did have to call a couple of times for updates, but eventually he came back & said we would need a whole new hot water heater ($1700). We had been without hot water for about a week at that point, & it was Friday night heading into Easter weekend. Gail said she would try to have Charlie (the plumber) out on Saturday to replace the hot water heater if they had one in stock. He came in on Saturday before Easter & said he would be working late to add us to the schedule, so we would have hot water for the holiday weekend. I was very grateful for that, and the new hybrid tankless hot water heater is working great! Overall, the experience took 5 days & was expensive. BUT we had a tankless hot water heater (that has now been replaced with a hybrid tankless hot water heater) & many companies in the area will not even work on those at all. I would give them a solid B rating, which could be improved to an A if the process had taken fewer days... Gail was very helpful in moving our project along & communicating between us, the manufacturer & the plumber. Once the decision was made to replace the hot water heater, it moved quickly & we had hot water by the next evening! I cannot emphasize how much I appreciated being added on for installation on a busy holiday weekend, & having hot water on Easter Sunday. Thank you! :)

Charlie and crew were amazing every step of the way. They communicated with us and worked with us to help minimize days we may need to miss work. This even included a weekend! He and his crew cleaned up well after the work was complete. All in all we couldn't be happier and would recommend Hometown Plumbing without hesitation. Also, I would like to mention that Hometown's prices were right in line with Lowe's appliance installation. In fact, some were slightly less. This isn't pointed out to knock on Lowe's installers, it's just to point out that if you need appliance installation why not consider Hometown. They do wonderful job and stand behind their installs. We considered using both, but I am glad we ultimately decided to have Hometown do it all.

It always comes down to price. If they could have come a little bit cheaper on their prices, it might have helped out a little bit. I'm retired. When you're retired, you're on a fixed income and living off your savings. You have to consider every dime that you spend.

Estimate provided 4:30 PM the day we called and service was done same time next day. It was great having a late appointment and not having to figure out work schedules and taking time off of work. Hometown was very respectful of our time. Our technician was wonderful and provided us with multiple options and allowed us to choose what solution worked best for our budget. There was no pressure to choose more "expensive" fixes or upselling of services. When he returned for the repair, he was on time for the service and finished within the time estimate he gave us.

Two days into my vacation, my pet sitter called me to say she had come into my house to find water dripping from the bulkhead between my dining room and living room. I jumped on Angie's List from my vacation house and started looking for A-rated plumbers I could trust to take care of the issue. The first I tried couldn't come for two days, the next didn't answer the phone. I called Hometown Plumbing and he said he could have someone there in a couple of hours. He was willing to work with a neighbor who has a key to get access. He arrived when he said he would and determined that the toilet in the master bathroom was the problem and the valve needed replacing. He sent two people out a couple of hours later, one to fix the toilet and the other to cut out the wet ceiling and drywall in the dining room below. They gave it two days to dry out, then coordinated with my neighbor over the next several days to replace the drywall, mud and sand. They insisted on finishing before I had to return to work on Monday, so they came both Saturday and Sunday to finish, and the gentleman who finished took a great deal of time doing the best he could to try and match the texture on the ceiling (you can never match it, but he got as close as possible). Everyone I dealt with was extremely pleasant and did their best to make sure I could still enjoy my vacation (my neighbor is awesome too!). I wouldn't hesitate to call them again, and have told several friends how great my experience was.

From the first point of contact to the end of the job, the service could not have been better. I called in the morning, not expecting that a plumber would be able to come to my house the same day. I was pleasantly surprised when I was told that someone could be at my house the same afternoon. After showing the service technician the problem, he explained that the old saddle valve needed to be replaced. I also asked him about a small drip on the water heater, and he said he could fix that as well. He completed the job thoroughly within the hour. I am so glad that I found the company here on Angie's list. I definitely recommend them and will use them again if necessary.

Called them on a Sunday and they were at my house the following day. Joe the plumber was prompt and a true professional. He diagnosed my plumbing problem and assembled the parts needed, which at the time was not to county standards. I was very surprised at the total cost of parts and labor. Way below what I expected to pay. I now have a plumber for life. I highly recommend this company for all plumbing needs.

I called them and they came the same day. The tech(owner) looked at the issue and had it diagnosed to 2 possible issues. They would have to replace a part to find out if the 1st diagnosis was correct. They did replace the part and after some tweaking, it was fixed and the leaking was stopped.

It went well, they were professional,efficient. They were only here for about thirty minutes or so. Upfront they told us everything we were going to need and the approximate cost and it wasn't too far off from that approximate cost that they gave us. Convenient, we called them and within a matter of days they had some availability for what we needed to have done.

They were awesome. I called them at 11 pm and they answered the phone. He was able to come by at 9 am on Saturday morning and he fixed the pipe so I was able to get the water back on. It was just amazing. They came back later to replace the drywall and the insulation and everything. They were very accommodating of my schedule. They did a very good job with the cleanup. The price was quite reasonable considering that I called at 11 pm. I would absolutely use them again.

They are very prompt. They are actually very thorough with their work and they have never failed an inspection. Even the owners call just to make sure that everything is going well. It is just superior service.

I like to keep my business local and the folks at Hometown Plumbing Services were wonderful. The estimate was fair and the price was for the job not by the hour. I say that because the guys worked much longer than anticipated and I added a last minute request to move the water valves for our laundry and they stayed to complete that work as well. The additional cost was minimal. I was really impressed by the friendly attitudes and diligent work. I will add that I was given an appointment time and when 20 minutes passed and no one showed, I called and they promply sent another guy to start the work. Both guys were wonderful and I would use them again for my plumbing needs.
